OK so in this topic I will try to make an interpretation for an horary chart. Question was: I will go to England in 6 months?

Before I leave any interpretation I want to state this: I do not have experience with Horary charts so I might be wrong. I would also want your help.

The chart is not from astro but its pretty good.

So.. The querent aka me is the ASC which is in Virgo. Mercury is in the sign of Leo and its in 11th house. Jupiter is in 9th house in Gemini and makes a sextile with its ruler, Mercury.

I also see a square with Moon and Saturn which can mean a delay. Am I right?
At first sight everything looks like a positive answer but I have my doubts.
From this point on I'm blocked. Is there any other thing I should look at? Maybe 7th house? Thanks!

PS: If I look at the 7th house, I see Pisces there. Its traditional ruler is Jupiter which falls in the obvious 9th house.

I'm trying to learn this too, but I'm totally rubbish. lol

You are Mercury, the 9th house ruler is Venus, so Mercury and Venus are in applying 5 degrees sextile ? That sounds like a yes? But you are also Moon and the Moon is exalted in the 2nd house and it's in applying 0 degree conjunct to Saturn which is exalted in Libra, which gives another strong yes, but it means it will be probably take a bit longer than you expect. Also if the Moon is used as the question you asked and you are Mercury, then Moon is applying in a 10 degree square to Mercury, so again a yes, but a longer wait (square). 10 months?

i'm not sure but if you are also a planet in the 1st - Mars and the question you asked is a planet in the 9th Jupiter, then you also have Mars trine Jupiter applying 6 degrees. another nice aspect, but it's getting too much for my brain. *wait they are also both dignified in their own houses, only Jupiter is detriment in Gemini.* I don't know. LOL, sorry don't really take me too seriously, I'm trying to learn, as I said.

*I'm sure someone who knows about these things will help you more.*

ps. here is a nice article i found about horary http://www.navarroastrology.com/articles/article?article_id=3

*edit* (Any planet in an angular house, the 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th, is dignified. The term is called “accidentally dignified”. This gives a planet dignity, even if it is also in its fall or detriment by sign and/or house.)-fromthearticle

so your Venus(ruler of 9th) is also accidentally dignified in the 10th.

To me it sounds good as a whole.
=)

Is this chart in Regiomontanus house system? That's usually the one used for horary.

There is interference and also things you do not know. Moon is in Via Combusta which is an impediment to judge the chart right.

To answer your question, the square between Mercury and Moon-Saturn is not important. You as Mercury have already passed the sq to Saturn, you're separating from it, it is a thing of the past. Moon is indeed applying widely to square you, but out of sign and Saturn prohibits.

You asked about travel so the ruler of the 9H should be used. Jupiter as secondary significant since Jup signifies travel abroad. You are applying to sextile Venus, but again there is interference from Jupiter this time, which frustrates your application to Venus, comes in between sort of speak.

The answer is probably a no because of the interferences but since Moon is in Via Combusta, anything can happen..

Hey, goodluck to you though! Horaries have a time period of 3-6 months valability so don't give up! Ask again when there is a change in circumstances or after a few months.
