From the Lovers, knight of Discs and King of Cups, I think he was serious. Perhaps he also saw competition from another guy? (emperor) I read 3,4,5,6 in a clockwise position from the bottom. So 3 is Emperor and so on...

I'm thinking 8 of swords/3 of swords, he was afraid and had been hurt in the past, some guy (emperor) was in the picture, perhaps he had missed a chance in asking you ahead of time? (4 of cups) The best that could've happened was Lovers, and he would've been dependable (Knight of Discs). He had high hopes, (9 of cups), but you were hurt and moving away (six of swords). He wanted to sweep you off your feet (knight of cups), King of Cups, I think he still has feelings for you and has definitely matured from that time. He may even still have hopes now.

That sounds accurate!! The 3 of swords because he was talking to more than one at the same time..

Well, The Emperor could be talking about his best friend at the time..who I ended up going out with instead of him. 6 of Swords, well I wasn't hurt.. I was scared! lol..I was really young at the time

This sounds so right because even today while I did a reading about him I got both knight and king of cups

Question: What are my crush's intentions towards me?

He wants to take things slow before he gets involved with someone (2 of Wands rx and Knight of Pentacles). It seems like right now he's keeping a defensive stance on (9 of Wands) and just guarding himself. He wants something solid and worth his while, which is why things might seem sluggish. He's scared of getting hurt or hurting you. He seems like a good guy though (Knight of Pentacles) he wants a real relationship, but is just taking things slowly right now. I don't know how long you two have known each other, but these cards make me feel like he wants to get to know you better before anything else.

Is this guy involved with someone else? He does have feelings for you, but they aren't that deep (Page of Cups). These feelings are new you can say, tender and kind of like puppy love . I have a feeling like he has hurt you in the past and/or that he's with someone else right now. But he has caring feelings for you, just not the type that you would like him to have. Since I don't see that he's in love with you, he won't tell you that. But he will tell you that he cares about you.
