Can anyone see why that is? I feel soooo much Virgo energy in the way I deal with the world and relationships and I feel the strong underlying Scorpio sun bubbling beneath, but I just don't feel Capricorn at all. Why does my sun seem so weak in the external world and why is my Virgo moon so Dominating??

I like it when they say Asc is the wrapping. The way you act, look and otherwise the facade you present to others. As for communication it's Mercury which you have in Scorpio.

This is what strikes me at first sight.

But there's more interesting stuff, such as Saturn Rx in the 6th (Virgo's) house opposing your ASC. Perhaps you're generally not good at articulating yourself and having a presence. I'm sorry if this sounds wrong.

Thanks for your input Andstuff. I followed the link and the Capricorn description doesn't sound a thing like me or what I look like. The Scorpio physical description fit.

I'll look into the Saturn Rx in the 6th, but honestly, articulating myself is one of my greatest skills and having a presence. However, I am uncomfortable with my strength of presence. I do wish I could blend in more into the background...

Your natal Saturn is located in the 6th house, which is a house usually ascribed to Virgo. Your Saturn is also sextile your moon in Virgo. So I would think all this just strengthens the Virgo element in you.

What's more is that your natal Saturn, ruler of your chart is conjunct your south node. Your North node in Cap is located in your 12th house, house of the unconscious.

First of all, like the other poster mentioned, you have Saturn in the 6th house, which is Virgo's house. Since you are a Capricorn rising, Saturn is your chart ruler. He sits in the house that is ruled by Virgo. I think that is probably a large part of the reason you feel so "virgo."

Also....You mentioned feeling Virgo-like when it comes to relationships. Well, your descendant is in Cancer. Cancer's ruler is the moon, which sits in the sign of Virgo. So your descendant ruler (the ruler of the 7th house, which has to do with how we are in partnerships), is in Virgo.

Also, you have Mercury on the Midheaven. Mercury is considered to be the ruler of Virgo (although I think there's some debate). Mercury also rules Gemini. Gemini rules your 6th house. SO- your 6th house ruler (virgo's house) is on the midheaven.

However, I'm not sure why you wouldn't feel the Capricorn influence, especially since your sun and Mercury are in the 10th house (Capricorn's house). Perhaps since the ascendant is about how others see us, you are simply not noticing all that is capricorn about you, but others do. Do you know how others see you? Do they see you as serious, responsible, hardworking, somewhat shy? I think (but could be wrong) that Saturn would be considered weak since it is in detriment and retrograde. Maybe that's why you don't FEEL saturn-like. Another thing is that you have two first house planets - Venus and Jupiter (and Venus sitting RIGHT on your ascendant). This would affect things.

The other thing is that you could have the wrong birthtime. Do either of the neighboring signs seem more accurate? Or perhaps you have a later Capricorn ascendant - in the Virgo decan.
