I saw your reply to someone's synastry question on the 2.0 forum. I followed your instructions on how to properly post a synastry chart and aspect table. I'm really glad to learn the right way to do it. I have posted what I am trying to learn about below. I am on the inside of the wheel and I am person number one on the aspect chart. We are not a couple, but it is a very compelling and confusing relation. I seem to be much more interested than him, but something tells me, he is hiding or repressing a strong compulsion toward me also. Does anything speak to this? I find that I am unable to reason with myself about him.   IP: Logged |

Yes, I'd love for anyone to chime in. He or she just made a really instructive post on how to put up a synastry chart so I was responding to that, but anyone who can give me some more insight, please do! I'd be happy to reciprocate. I find it's harder to have perspective on my own synastry with someone.Edited to say that: Faith, you already gave me great feedback on this synastry in another post I think. But I'm not the only one who had trouble with her.redshift: I don't remember what I said before except he's Scorpio rising so you better watch out.  I'm no expert but here's what jumps out at me: Obviously, sun trine sun and moon sextile moon looks compatible. Your Uranus conjunct his moon might be stirring things up for him quite a bit, especially since he has Venus-Mars in Aqua. You and he have Venus conjunct Neptune in his 7th house  What do you think of that? I think it can go either way, be dreamy for a long time or set you up for disillusion. His Saturn near your Venus gives longevity but can put a damper on things (my hubby's Saturn is EXACTLY on my Venus, I KNOW!  ) Saturn contacts are a mixed blessing. I love that your Jupiter is conjunct his Venus-Mars midpoint in his 8th house, all in Aquarius. That sounds funky and...well, tempting (?) Saturn conjunct Jupiter in Cancer sounds sweet, especially since you both are water suns. Thanks Faith! I think that venus conjunct neptune is what keeps me digging in our synastry because I can't seem to see him clearly. It's as if I literally can not see bad in him, even if I'm trying to. Which means, I can't really judge how he feels about me, because I only can believe the best about him. It's nuts! IP: Logged |

Do you see anything that sort of indicates he might be inclined to use me? Like, use my attention or sort of submit to my attention but keep it to himself that it's not reciprocated...I think it's the venus/neptune conjunction, but I'm wondering if there's more. Sometimes, I think I really get to him and he's shy to show it, but other times, I feel like he just lets me adore him, but keeps his distance.
Arg. I always find those Scorpio moons so hard to read. They are so intense, but so secretive. This coming from a Scorpio sun here!IP: Logged |

Cap Saturn, Uranus, Neptune people I cannot figure out at all, but at least they are sextile his sun/Merc and Scorpio Pluto. I have Venus-Neptune natally so I have a lot of experience with the conjunction in synastry (basically, with everyone in my age group.) It just never lasted for me. I know two other Venus-Neptune girls who never had any luck with it in synastry, either. My reading on it AND experience indicates that Neptune has the upper hand, so that would be him, here. But Linda Goodman says in Relationship Signs that it can go either way. I do think there looks like potential to get kind of lost in this, it's so deep and fascinating like a puzzle every way you look at it. IP: Logged |

Actually Faith, you found it. That Mars/Venus Square Pluto is exactly what I suspected about him. I was sort of hoping it wasn't indicated, but now that it's there in front of me, I feel relieved that I'm not crazy!
