Had dental surgery this morning, was traumatic...two gum grafts! Bit in shock but have someone looking after me.

Any angel card to send me some strength or reading? It is two weeks till stitches come out

Feeling miserable and saw M this week and we chatted but I knew I was not going to be around for next two weeks.

I need to be patient on all levels, health and life.

Thank you for your kind words. Still feeling miserable! Face has swollen after the surgery.

Venia had done a reading for me and Mr M and it was all good, queen of wands, and I need patience. Having had surgery is forcing me to concentrate on myself so will look to healing myself over next two weeks. But thank you for the offer and right now am not sure I could take any bad news...

Second card: How you can recover emotionally from what happened to you with Mom... I got 8 of Cups. I feel that for you, this means you need to take a period of solace away from your mom, since it appears that right now all she has to offer is inappropriate negativity and cruelty to you, without even considering your painful condition. 8 of Cups tells us to quietly move on from something by using our heart and our intuition. Trust yourself - a short separations period can bring peace, not bad feelings. Give her time to get over her own anger. In terms of health, the Lovers represent to me, two people working as a unit to get better. So it seems, you either need a really good friend or M or whoever to be with you at this time as you heal. I can see now that the lack of support you received from your mother post-op probably really hurt you, and that you would rather battle this recovery with support than alone. Sometimes people prefer to relax alone to heal but, right now, you really know you want someone by your side. The Lovers is telling you to reach out, and ask for that support. Even though your mom can't give you it right now, someone else will.

Hi Sweet scorpion

Thank you so much for your guidance. Cards are spot on.I love my mum dearly and she did try (physically was wonderful, took me to surgery and bought me food etc,) but it was emotionally where she let me down. I was strong and told her NO, did not wish to discuss, took all my energy. It is also taking energy to forget the words she said and shake it off.

The cards resonate! I am not afraid of the death card, i am aware of how it relates. half way through the surgery (it was grafts to cover receding gums which I was conscious of in my appearance and needed to do now to protect the teeth) and the surgery was tougher than I thought and had to calm myself through a near panic attack when I could see the blood.

I understand the separation with my mum, she will now go home (she left this afternoon) and withdraw emotionally. She did apologise to me for eveything but sometimes it is not enough. I just hope she will heal within herself and respect me when I say I do not want to live in the past. The death card does mean I need to rest and take care as much as possible.

Am encouraged by the lovers card. I have good support system with friends and shall see with M. I will use tonights sleep to get over the past two days and guilt I feel at my mum.

Thanks too- i love the fact I got the Empress! how fitting (leo moon talking here) and also the surgery I went through was for health and appearance.

My mum left sunday and I was able to recover emotionally.

Have not talked much to help the surgery work. I have taken time off work to recover and ensure I heal well.

The lovers card: I have had lots of friends and colleagues message me and contact me. They will visit me when I am able to have visitors. Shows you who really cares! which is lovely and something to be cherished.

Hoping today was just a bad day. This too shall pass...
