What are solar return charts and progressed charts used for? What to they mean, and what do they show? What is the diffrence between the two? Thank you!!  ------------------

Predictive Astrology. To see the future. Solar Returns are good to see the evolution of your life during a year. Progressed charts are meant to the changes in your personality and life. While SRs are pretty simple and last only a year, progressed charts are very complicated and can last longer.
For example... in progressed charts fastest planets like Moon, Mercury or Venus brings changes for you that can last 2 or three years. Hard planets just like in transits last longer. Even in SRs.
SRs are available from your current bday until your next bday.
Progressed charts are calculated like this: A day from your b-day/ a year in your life.
Lets say at the time of your birth the Moon was in Virgo. Moon changes sign in 2 or 3 days. Then, you will have to wait and accept the influences of Virgo over your personality until progressed Moon changes sign.
Sun lasts 30 years to change its sign in progressed.
SRs can be named the charts of yearly transits. There you can see the opportunities and changes that your life can take. Keep in mind this: your destiny never changes. You were born with a natal chart and you will die with it. The changes are temporary and they never last long. They are not permant like destiny.IP: Logged |
