As promised, I asked about your family

This is what I've got

Your mother - The Hierophant - apparently thinks she is in the right, has done and keeps doing everything the proper way and thinks her view on the situation is accurate

Your grandmother - 10 pents - just wants everyone to be happy. A sense of security and piece at home.

What stops them from getting back to normal - Knight of Pents. This is a tricky one. If it's not a person (dark hair, olive skin), then someone could be too busy working on something and trying to ignore the situation, creating a barrier.

6 cups - it might be you who wants things back to how they used to be. Or it might be everyone involved

I asked if you might be able to do something about it - Queen of Wands. Yes, some Aries-like initiative on your part will be beneficial

What exactly should you do? 6 pents and 2 cups. I feel like everyone has to be open to sharing and giving each other their due. Some fair exchange that will result in 2 cups.

Incidentally, are your mother and grandmother mother and daughter? Or is it a grandmother on the other side? Basically 2 cups is cancer, representing maternal love among others. Affection should flow freely.

How soon? - Queen of Cups. Remembering Junethird's thing - not too quickly. But she's also a Cancer. I see introspection, understanding one's feelings. Potentially a lot is subconscious as well, as the cup she is holding is closed yet she is able to contemplate whats therein.

yes it's my mom and her mother, she's actually a Cancer Sun (grandma).

it's true my mother does think she is right, she's a bit too stubborn perhaps, but i understand why.

and maybe my grandmother does want everyone happy, but she's favoriting other family members a bit too much, that's why my mom is upset.

knight of pentacles, well the issue started over an inheritance, but there were other underlying problems.

i think we all do want to get everything patched up, but nobody is making a first move. lol

i'm gonna try in small ways to help, but these two women are both too stubborn. lol

well if the last card indicates Cancer i hope it means my grandmother comes around and she sees why my mom is upset. as i said she favors others in the family.

so i guess this will go on for awhile longer. it sucks, but i suspected so anyway.

Also, yeah, I guess I can partially relate to this, can't stop thinking about my grandma on the mother's side and how she has always been choosing my uncle over my mum. Pretty disheartening. Something happened once (over some property or other) that through her favouritism made my mum lose her brother for good, they barely talk these days, has always been like this. My mum still regrets this.

So 6 pents was the inheritance! This is super-interesting!
