Hi all

Have a controlling and unsupportive manager

(DOB of manager 5.June 1979, UK) and in order for me to get promotion "need to get my hands dirty", does not matter that I feel unsafe going to the country they want me to go as a blonde, young female on my own. Am soooo furious, i said no to going to Nigeria last year but they are using it as leverage in a power game. Don't get me wrong, love challenge but do not like being forced to do something i am not comfortable about.

I am doing a marketing qualification and work are paying so will do that this year, continue doing my job i love right now and look for another job next summer.

Gosh, feel so hurt that after years of my working life (5 years) they will deny me promotion cause i refuse to go a country I dont feel that they will gurantee my safety in.

Furious Sparkling (am normally happy but not today)

Although you don't have her birthtime, she has more than likely a Moon Pluto conjunction by the looks of her chart, you will never win from her, these people are on a powertrip and out for their own good. Don't trust her, bad news.

Hi Sag: I can't read charts as far as I can throw them, but I do read tarot. I thought I might do a small spread for you just to see how you can navigate this situation. I agree completely that you can win against a bully boss, and I definitely say don't go to Nigeria if you feel threatened. Sometimes things just go a certain way... maybe this slight is the best thing that could happen to you, lead you to find a new job with a better boss and better opportunities. Anyway! It was just a four card. Hope it helps in some way.

Best way to approach boss: The Lovers
How to relieve the extra anger/stress: Six of Swords
Best way to approach job search: King of Pentacles (r)
What to realize overall: Knight of Swords

The best way to "beat" your boss is to seem (even if you don't) like you understand him/her and are on their side. The Lovers is, yes, about relationships in a sexual sense, but it is also about BALANCE in a relationship, and platonically speaking, you have to make the accommodations you would for a spouse's habit that just drove you insane. Now, and I say this next bit with serious doubt and trepidation, but I thought it when I was reading, so it's worth mentioning: it may be there's a serious sexual undercurrent at work, and its outlet is in being harsh towards you. I don't think that's what it is, but like I said, it crossed my mind.

The best way to handle your stress is the Six of Wands. To me this says do your best to leave work at work and just start focusing on the new job search. It's FANTASTIC you are letting work pay for your certification. Little things like that will help. Use this time to prepare for leaving; get your books in order so to speak. When it comes time to look, the King of Pentacles (r) says don't focus just on what will match your paycheck and prestige with this current job. You need to look for something that centers you personally and makes you happy. The thing to realize in all of this is the Knight of Swords -- he always looks for the truth in the situation; he barrels forward into battle without too much analysis. He's passionate and has a lot of conviction. I feel two things: you are the only person in this equation who is doing this; you're the only one with a cause for justice (your boss thinks this bullying is fine). Two, I would suggest just making sure you take time to really hash out what you want and go for that. May seem like pedantic advice, but it is what it is. You're at a powerful crossroads. Go for the gold that fulfills you in all facets, just not professionally.

Hope any of that helps at all! <3

Hi beccathelion

Thank you for the reading, have been able to calm down. My boss is male by the way, forgot to mention that.

Yes i had a realisation "what am i going to do now...." I had progression all planned and safe and comfortable and it felt like it tumbled down but amongst that was the realistion of what if....! and that is exciting and i have lots of time to figure it over this year.

lovers: interesting card. this card came up when i was recovering from surgery this summer as an outcome or future card.

I love the reading, how positive right? And saturn in libra is leaving and that was all involved in career and job and relationships...maybe i wont be able to move on from my job right now....but can set up for the future now. Its like I have seen the light and I am super strong, I tend not to do exactly what I am told if it is manipulative.

Its going to be ok right???

Just looked at your boss's chart, here are some aspects that may represent them traits.

Mars square Midheaven, means he likes to dominate, beacuse he thinks if he doesn't dominate, someone else will.

"A tendency to rely on the self so much as to alienate important others in our lives, to be excessively competitive to the point of a me-first attitude"

Does this sound like him?

He is divorced (all accounts was cold and threw hiw wife out). That describes him exactly, domination for sure, through verbal manipulation. I will look after MYSELF and my priorities....

Today, had check up post surgery, and all is good! BUT will need braces (oh at 28...not so cool, had them when younger but my mum stopped them). So yeah a time of physical transformation I think!

I tell you what, Saturn has been a tough taskmaster....hope this all pays off.
