the present - 5 wands - some conflict within you? or just lots of things to contend with?
the challenge - 9 wands - i can see you getting ready for things, putting up your defense barriers just in case
the immediate future - 9 pents - earthly pleasures
the root - ace of swords - indeed your presentiments are right. something powerful is effectuating itself, or getting ready to. also i'd pay attention to the fact that the hand is actually holding the sword really firmly. and the ground that is almost bare. if there is a change brewing, it is a good one
the past - the devil - have you been torn apart by passions?

This seems to match my thoughts about November and the transits. I think there may be a change of residence (or I hope there will be). Things have been going downhill for a while now and I think this is preparing me for 11.
I've had dreams about it. It seems that the message is that all must die before rebirth can happen, a kind of plutonic happening.
It's strange, almost as if I'm at the end of an era.
