Saturn in first house describe my feelings a little right now.

This is a relationship when question. I'm Venus (Moon in 2nd) in Leo 10th house and he's Scorpio Mars (Sun in 12th) in 2nd house.

Applying square between Venus and Mars by 3, so that's a yes to my question.

Timing has me baffled though. It says 0. Is the sun in 12th applying to moon or nn? They are both at 0. I got "0" years (so I'm assuming it will be this year?).

Does that seem right? please help, thank you.

By the way, it's funny that mars is conjunct moon with 9 degrees separating because we "broke up" 9 days ago...

For the timing you are using the difference of degrees of both significators that are in aspect, usually the faster one (Venus) in sign and house (Regiomontanus) indicates a timeframe.

Sometimes though the Moon as main ruler of the question itself will answer.

problem: there are different tables for timing, so it is a bit difficult.

Anyway I have made good experiences with the first one of this link here: http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12782

"Ivy Goldstein-Jacobson in her book says:

If planet is in
cardinal sign
Angular houses that is days
Succedant houses that is weeks
Cadent houses that is months

common sign
Angular houses that is weeks
Succedant houses that months
Cadent houses that is years

fixed sign
Angular houses that is months
Succedant houses that is years
Cadent houses that is time unknown "

So we have Venus in a fixed sign and cardinal house: weeks

Moon would be in a fixed sign and fixed house: months

Not funny. But an indicator that your horary chart is very valid, as the last astrological contact between your significators is equal to what happened in real life.
I have seen that over and over again, which had me baffled.

Oh and Moon is applying to a sextile with Sun. If he is Sun (and I guess he is), there might be a meeting or encounter or the opportunity for one, practically presently, or within this month, according to the table I posted.

Oh Cerid, thanks. I go by the last timing method you pasted here, that's why I guessed 0 years.

I only thought that the moon was the only that could indicate timing. Yes sextile between sun and moon is 0 (hence why I mentioned "0" years since moon is in scorpio fixed sign and suceedent house).

But 3 weeks makes a lot more sense and it's way more realistic. I will look at various timing methods, thank you

Lol, I said it's funny because it's very accurate

Timing in horary is a tricky things, sometimes it is WAY off, and then other times it is so accurate it creeps me out. lol

In the last horaries where it was spookingly accurate, I actually used the difference in degrees between the significators, but the location of the Moon, though she was not part of the aspect. LOL Wasn`t aware I did that, just happened intuitively. And it gave the absolute correct timeframe down to the day.

Yes, it's true because I would have never thought 9 days ago if it was someone elses chart. Since according to the timing, the moon in fixed sign would mean years, heh.

Also the sun in 12th house is also very accurate because he's actually in the hospital

Well, not according to the first table I posted. I think you always have to see the signplacement and house together.
Anyway, basically the horary gives you the timeunits, but it seems flexible, if it is days, weeks, months or years.

And yes Sun in 12th house sounds like hospital is a posible manifestation. I hope it is nothing serious.

I use the last timing method that you pasted here on the thread .

Timing is hard and very flexible. I guess if you are reading the chart for someone else asking questions regarding timing would be a good way to predict whether it will take days, months, years, etc.

It's for his knee and he's pretty depressed about it :/
