This is exactly how it is. Interesting article that explains it well. This is what I have always believed to be the truth about soul mates .

Whenever someone starts rattling on learning lessons through soulmates, it makes me want to never meet one again

Haha, I read that one yesterday.

Actually I wanted to come on here and ramble about how there is no "one truth", just what resonates mostly with you (mayber there is a one truth, but if there is I don´t believe, one person has access to it as a whole ).

Anyway, even though I don`t know if it is THE truth, it is totally down my line of thinking as well.
One of the very rare articles on that subject, I agree to such a large part with actually.

But it's good for you andstuff! Even if it's painful it helps for future relationships.

Cerid, yes I see what you're saying. It might just be subjective

Yeah, but since it is so close to my subjectivity, it resonates greatly.

And honestly, I wouldn´t want to miss one single learning experience. Without them I wouldn´t be the person I am today, and I am exactly the person I am supposed to be at this point in time (doesn`t mean it is always easy to be me. )

basically, what you're saying is, an unhappy youth doesn't matter, as long as by the time you're 75 you learn all there is and FINALLY enjoy healthy love with your twin flame, helping each other into nappies before going to bed would be SO fulfilling

i'd really beg to differ. if i could rewind and never be affected by certain things, i'd be a much better person now, less screwed up, less everything.

let's face it, life is brief, pleasures make one feel good, pain doesn't, let alone consciously looking for it.

have you watched "cafe' de fleur" btw? i started, but dropped, but it's kind of about reincarnation

No, I haven't watched it. Sounds interesting.

I'm not saying that..just saying the cliche quote, if life gives you lemons...welll you know the rest!

I should know about painful childhoods. My chart clearly points it out "chiron conjunct black lilith" in 4th house andddd not even 1 degree apart...fml..

You live and you learn..

Yes Cerid, it resonates with me as well, but may not to others. That's why I said it kind of is subjective, lol

I agree, EM.

I would never want to tell anyone else how they should feel about something. Just wanting to mention how I feel about this question. It is very individual and very subjective.

The article is pretty much in alignment with my view of soulmates as well. I have to head out in a couple of minutes but I'll be back later this evening to talk about it more.

Thank you for sharing Empress! At nearly 30 i feel just now happy with myself and hopeful about the future, where before i was searching for that other half. i especially agree with the lessons to be learned are forgiveness and unconditional love, and of course self love because i believe you must know them before being ready for a truly spiritual relationship. the lessons are difficult but very much worth the wait! : )
