Did a CC for someone about her possibly dating a guy we work with. Only caveat is the guy used to date a good friend of hers, and it seems like there is trouble a'brewin. Got these placements:
1st -- 9 of Cups
2nd -- Justice
3rd -- Lovers (r)
4th -- 2 of Pentacles (r)
5th -- 3 of Wands
6th -- Queens of Swords (r)
7th -- World (r)
8th -- 7 of Swords
9th -- 5 of Swords
10th -- King of Pentacles (r)
So, how I'm reading this is, yes, she wants him, but there's a really heavy feeling or right versus wrong (i.e. Justice, 5 and 7 of Swords) -- she doesn't want to compromise her friendship. Where I am getting tripped up at is the Lovers reversed in the 3rd position, Queen reversed, World reversed, and King reversed (rofl, so basically all of it.) I can't tell if the energies are saying this can't be, or if this is more of a mirror into what SHE thinks, does that make sense?
If I'm going with how the cards read, there's a murky sense of what to do (Queen (r)) and in turn, the World feels upside down -- which can't be helped, because it's a major, and it's time for this lesson to be learned. The advice of the 5 of Swords would suggest to me that sometimes you have to be the winner, sometimes you have to be the one to say, this is my life and this is what I want -- but the King reversed doesn't seem like the best outcome. More like a "don't get your hopes up, he's gonna be more into his job than you." This in turn makes me the think the Lovers (r) in the 3rd is less of a state of being (they aren't lovers) and more of warning NOT to be... like deep down everyone knows it.
I guess I'm tripped up, because I know all three of these people fairly well, and I like them all, rofl -- so I am a bit muddled. Any insight???
