2. distant, in a bad position or situation. not paying attention to you? (with the rest of the cards and 5's, this isn't a positive card here)..left out in the cold, rejected

3. feelings i would have to say a very strong attraction. you want him at all costs and you don't mind chasing him.

4. looks like he has somebody else in his life.

5. depressed, sad, at a loss

6. i think there's some frustration on his part as far as feelings go. stubborn, strife, petty arguments and issues, annoyed, etc..

7. the challenge seems to be communication, honesty, loyalty and him standing his ground. is he a cold person? From personal experience and looking at the rest of the reading, this king won't show you emotions or affection.

The Page of Swords kind of means an active mind, being on the alert, perhaps expecting foul play and getting ready.

how you feel about him: not really sure,,,, you got a lot of 'passion' for him? but that 'passion' or those strong feelings may be divided or going in to seperate ways...one following your heart the other your head...or something like that.
this card makes me think of scattered energy...like you have so much energy but you don't know what to do with it.

what stands between us: empress. if it's regarding you, maybe he doesn't see you as caring. if it's about him, maybe he needs more care. if about someone else, it could be representing their qualities which is caring.

how he sees you: suffering for some reason, possibly about an ex or someone from your past? or just sad?
it's a sepearation card, so maybe one of you is thinking about moving on, even tho it makes them sad

how he feels about me: competative, possibly too competative

He could have; I don't know.

He might be thinking that; I have no way of knowing. But I haven't given him any reason to think this of me.

He's a closed off person when confused or when he is unsure of a situation. He won't show what he really feels and that he's vulnerable unless the atmosphere allows him to do so. He will never take the initiative it seems. I'm was kinda hoping he'd take the initiative of working through the wall I put up. Nope lol.

sorry to say, but this whole reading has a negative vibe and tone to it. but i hope it helps you understand somewhat..

Yes, I would say this. After I stopped talking to him and dealing with him, I've had much more time to myself and my career. With him I have more reservations than while I was with him and caught up in the illusion.

Sometimes to get myself through I imagine him heartbroken over losing me haha. Also, I was pretty loyal to him.

With him, *I* felt like *my* emotions were out of control. Now I don't feel emotional over what happened but then...omg...I was a mess. Also, if ever in the future I do get with any other guy or him, I would do things sooooo much differently. I'd be a little aloof, not as vulnerable or open. I guess, I'm permanently restricted. I think he was really emotional too, but probably since we were so alike he's also restricting himself form expressing or being vulnerable again.

Could you clarify this?
He might think that I have inner conflict or that he has inner conflict about me?

king of swords impersonates reason and some aspects of law. perhaps some notions re: what is right and proper. generally mind over feelings. might be his attitude. or not.

He's a very emotional person but he puts on that face that he's not weak or vulnerable. Also I think he's so confused with my not telling him exactly how I feel that he doesn't know what to do with it. I bet he is trying to intellectualize things away. As in, "well if she isn't talking to me, she probably doesn't care to and has moved on." Also he always told me that he was no good for me and that I could do better so maybe now even if he wants me he holds back.

Yeah, I think that I make up this notion that he's heartbroken over me because in reality I feel that he's moved on fine and dandy. It's kinda a mind game I'm playing with myself. It helps me get through tough moments.

Yeah, I'm confused. I really don't want to put my hand back in the fire. I do have my moments of missing "us". But I have other things on my plate, and I don't want bad emotions to flood my mind if say I get into the same negative situation with him. It's too distracting and unproductive. I don't want to rick my career for it.

- Maybe he found another girl. That could be it. But I doubt it because in a comment on a very sappy yt video "goodwill hunting breakup scene" he wrote that he wished someone loved him like that.

For some reason I feel like he was pushing my buttons and expected me to come back to him after I finished my work. (Before our last fight I asked him for some time because I wanted to work on my career.) But I guess I surprised him by getting back into the dating game and not really talking to him about it. (Honestly I'm not really back into the dating game due to my career related issues, but I made it seems that way, so he wouldn't think I was bawling my eyes out, missing him.)

I stopped talking to him. I made a public show of my moving on through my blog etc. Nothing was direct but certainly he would see I was new.

He might think that I'm sad though who knows? Maybe he's doing what I do and make believing to feel better.

True, it is a negative card. I have been trying to figure out how to work this.

Either x feels negatively *toward* y aka bad impression of y or x feels that y is being *negative* about the situation or x.

But elsewhere I read that it just means x has anxiety about y or feels guilty about something done. Or maybe it means x thinks that y is feeling guilty for doing something to y....O.o

But these 2 cards to me just tell me that he can't view you in a romantic light (sorry for assuming it's you, but I'm doing it for the sake of simplicity only ) because he might be in a long term commitment (Hierophant).
