It is a synastry matter but not a romantic one so I hope I'm posting this on the right board..

The synastry I'll be posting is of me and a man I'm about to embark on a business partnership with. We both work with health industry issues on the internet - me being the creative, idea-producing part, him being the one with the connections and the money.

Let me add that I have a history of bumping into the right people at the right time when it comes to my career (and only there, unfortunately...:-/) - especially older father figure like men who turn into mentors have always helped me along the way. I guess this is a present from my Jupiter in 11th - it's something that always came naturally without much effort on my behalf.

However, I'm guessing that this time, it could be something special... let me add that I'm not entirely sure about HIS rising sign. I've been experimenting with the classic 12:00 rising, finding that a Leo ascendant with Jupiter in 1st house seems very appropriate for both his appearance aswell as his reputation and history as a business man. But, as real as it seems, please take all house or ascendant issues with a grain of salt.

Now please look at the synastry for me...

What struck me first was the Sun-Chiron double whammy, possibly in both our 10th houses. I know that this would point towards a strong karmic connection touching on very old and very deep wounds - however, I find it very hard to interpret in a business context. What do you think?

The second thing that hit me right in the eye was the action going on along our nodal axises... just look at that! First of all we have a NN conjunction, which of course wouldn't be such a surprise if we were the same age - but as a matter of fact, we were born one nodal cycle apart from each other (me in 1975, him in 1956!). Please note that curiously enough, I had the same synastry aspect with my late father - he was someone who was always an unconditional believer in my ways and talents. While he was still around, he had to witness some of my absurdest twists and roundabouts (like trying to become a rockstar althrough my 20ies) - yet in his eyes, I could do no wrong and he had a strong belief that I would eventually find my way. My career self-esteem took a hard blow when he passed away...

Anyways, back to the Nodal action of myself and this potential new business partner. His NN is exactly conjunct my Neptune in (my) 7th, possibly his 10th. My NN is conjunct his Saturn (minus 4 degrees) and also his name asteroid ("Platz" is his surname asteroid). His Saturn is also close to my DC.

But that's not it... if you look at the SN-side, you'll find his Venus conjunct my SN (exact), his SN conjunct my asteroid Karma (exact) and also my first name asteroid positioned in his chart. This is going on in my 1st house, and possibly his 10th/edge 11th house.

I'm really trying to be objective on this - but wouldn't you agree that this nodal action very stronly suggests some serious karmic ties? I find very little on these aspects on the net and I guess I'm gonna have to wait how they manifest to really understand them.... yet I'm curious about what you pro's think.

Another thing that I found interesting was our conjunct Cereses, which also puts his Ceres conjunct my Jupiter who - like I mentioned earlier - I hold responsible for me always benefiting from older male mentors. But again, I don't understand Jupiter/Ceres in a professional context as it seems such a personal, rather motherly and nurturing connection. What do you think?

The last thing I'd like to point out is only valid provided my guess of his ascendant is true - but if I'm halfway right, his DC would land somewhere close to my sun (which I guess can't be bad for a business partnership) and his MC ruler Mars is widely conjunct my MC in Capricorn.

All in all, this looks pretty intense but within a professional context, I find this very confusing... but I guess, just because business relations aren't matters of the heart doesn't mean they can't be complex, no?? I can easily dismiss any complications through romantic feelings on either side as there's no classic connection of Sun/Moon, Moon/Venus, Venus/Mars, no nothing...

Needless to say, we also have a pretty intense composite.. there's a Cancer rising (which again I don't really get..). A Sun-Chiron-Ceres-Mercury conjunction in 10th house /Pisces opposite a Saturn-Uranus-Pluto conjunction in 4th/Virgo. Bam! It's squared by a Moon-Jupiter conjunction in 11th/Gemini and also the nodal axis, SN being conjunct Moon and Jupiter. This grand cross is supported by a nice sextile/trine figurine from Mars in 7th/Capricorn and Neptune in Scorpio/5th. When you open the Composite graphic, it just looks very nice with it's pattern of oppositions and harmonic aspects..

But that's another story... for now I'd just like an your opinion on this synastry. Of course I have a theory, being that there could be a past life connection of being either marital partners or a father/daughter pairing (Venus cnj. SN/Karma etc in synastry and Moon cnj. SN in Comp.).However, I'm more interested in how this could play out in this life considering the Saturn/NN, the Nodal conjunction, the Sun/Chiron and all that....
