It takes two! As long as you and your mate's reproductive systems work fine, you can have a baby if you try. I don't think astrology can dictate if you will have a baby or not though. :-)------------------

you know with modern medicine, infertility is not a big issue anymore.
Astrology has nothing to do with this - at least that's what I think - Mom has Saturn opposing Venus falling in her fifth house ... and here I'm writing this  IP: Logged |

No chart ever says whether you will or will not have children. It can't be easy trying all the time. I'd say you need to watch for Mars entering your 5th house, that should stir up some activity. Having Aquarius on the cusp could be suggesting unorthodox methods may help you to conceive. The other transit I'm looking at is Pluto crossing the IC, it's very symbolic of having to let go of something from the past before you can move in to the future. Symbolically ~ you need to break away from convention [whatever that means for you] and then you'll be able to get on with your life. You've got your north node and MC in Cancer [sign of motherhood] so it will be important for you to create your own family.... Some say that the solar return chart can sometimes show conception..it depends what's in the 5th house of the return chart. IP: Logged |

Maybe Aquarius being there is saying when you're older. Don't know how old you are now, but I also read that the co-ruler of Aqua is also Saturn..IP: Logged |

well, I don't think 5th house Aquarius means no children... many people have that, including myself, and i have been pregnant.Not to mention that the traditional lord of your 5th is exalted

actually the older part is a good point. I think you might be right about that. last year an astrologer predicted my getting pregnant by accident or having a miscarriage. I did actually get pregnant and have a miscarriage within the time frame she predicted. She was reading my transits vs natals though and she's been doing this professionally for over 20 years. I'm no expert but being as how I have a lot of points in my chart showing as to difficultly conceiving and the life experiences to prove, I would say you're kind in the middle. Nataly you don't have any terrible afflictions showing to infertility, but there is difficulty there. The moon is not in a fertile sign (if I remember correctly) it's also opposite the planet in your 5th house. The good news is that it's sextile Saturn. I have the square which indicates trouble conceiving. In your case it may mean you have a baby later, the sextile to pluto is also a plus. The trines from mercury to mars, saturn and pluto also help as well. With the traditional ruler of the 5th house, Uranus, you have only one aspect, the sextile to Venus, which is only a little helpful. Maybe a better time would be when Neptune isn't transiting your 5th house, I think moon cojunct Mercury would help. However your chances are most likely slim if TSaturn goes to square your moon. How long have you been trying? If more than a year then there are simple tests that can be done for you and your partner to see if it's a simple fix or if it's more complex.I know how difficult it is to deal with infertility.
