Hope you guys are OK and well.

Good thing we don't live by water here, so we're OK. The death toll is up to 33 I believe . RIP to all..

No Halloween for us this year it seems. It's a disaster!!

Hope you're all OK..

Yeah, I'm over in Brooklyn New York, and it's been pretty awful around here. I've never heard winds howl so much and so hard in my entire life!

Things seem to be picking up slowly but surely though, and no one I know is hurt, so there's that.

I hope everyone that got caught in this hurricane is okay and well.

Yeah LuckyDude I live in Brooklyn, too.
I wasn't scared because I knew nothing was going to happen here (not as bad as Manhattan or the other boroughs near water.)

Love to you all - I am a former New Yorker (Brooklyn - Flatbush) - and it's very good to hear that you guys are doing alright. I can't focus my attention to the newscasts because I get upset by media - but I do want to hear how people are doing.

Stay well - and keep us posted.

Warmly,
Wild Places

I live in the northeast (ohio) and we've had a high wind warning. All is good tho. The wind knocked over my mom's old metal shed on its side and her spouting on her mobile home came off but luckily that was all. I think our schools jumped the gun a little bit last night....they issued a 2 hr delay for this morning lol that was last night at like 11pm they did that. But they did ok. I believe I saw some snow tonight!! Aghhhh not ready!! Lol I should ask my sister how it was up around lake erie

WP - Wow, really? I live near Flatbush, lol. Omg, I'm the same way about the news! I avoid it like the plague. I do read a lot though, but when it comes to natural disasters, shootings, etc where a lot of people die..I just can't...

Shy - Agh, I hate snow :/. This wouldn't be as bad if it was snow instead of rain though. The cars in Manhattan are buried in water!!!!
