I ask because I pulled the hermit card, followed by a few pentacle cards. SO to answer your question about things falling into others lap, I believe the cards may be trying to tell you that they might just be going after what they desire more than you are at this time. It seems as though your feelings are there, but having them actually manifest into a relationship seems to be a challenge for you due to you taking an "wait and see" approach. I see you finally confronting some issues (or your feelings) head on, which will definitely ground you & free you at the same time. I am also seeing mutual love expressed between you & another. Seems very sweet, almost like "I really like you, do you like me".
There seems to have maybe been a misunderstanding that will be clarified for you , and in a very positive way.
