Just checking in on my Solar Return chart. I'm undergoing probate proceedings of my father's estate principally on behalf of my children, as joint heirs. He just passed away.

My Solar Return chart shows Sun Conjunct Pluto in the 8th House. It shows Sun and Pluto Trine Jupiter in the 12th House. It shows that Sun and Pluto Sextile Moon and Venus in the 10th House, and Square Uranus in the 11th House.

Does any of these have any significance, or is it just gibberish?

To be clear, I'm not being money faced. I'm just being protective of my children.

Thanks.

And its really interesting because I'm a Capricorn. With a Moon in Gemini and a Pisces Rising. My mom was a Virgo.

Like to hear more from you, please.

My father's natal chart. The time of birth is an estimate as "before dawn." The transit date is his date of death.

You are not sure about the time, so I won't major on the houses. He has a lot of hard aspects. This can make someone strive. He has a go getter Mars--Aries. He has low earth, which can make one successful, as strange as that may seem . Money comes easily to earth voids, so I am extrapolating here.
He has mainly Fixed signs, so I would say he could be stubborn, which you seem to indicate.

I would say his hard aspects drove him to succeed.

I am not very good with solar returns, but on a cursory look, yours looks favorable for an inheritance.
Love you, Ian

And that is precisely the problem.

For crying out loud, he had lovers younger than his two sons. Money aside, what sort of a woman would find a 70-plus attractive?

He would travel and vacation with women posing as his daughters, sometimes two in one go.

You understand that I have a high libido myself and I strive to not be like him.

Ok, that may make the houses right, then. Well, to me, it is not looks that makes a guy attractive. It is that"certain something"
You must have it, too. Thanks Dad

I'm pretty sure the houses are correct. "Right before dawn" timing will always yield an Aquarius ASC.

That "extra something" isn't always the most desired characteristic, especially after marriage. If you catch my drift lol

The Houses are correct. Venus in 12th does indicate secret love affairs.

8th House is not too unlucky for Capricorns or Capricorn Rising.

Your family's inheritance ought to be safe because 8th House rules inheritance, and Pluto here magnifies inheritance, especially when blessed by Jupiter. Jupiter in 12th has the reputation of being a Guardian Angel aspect.

But if Saturn is also in 8th, you might have to go through the inconvenience of a legal battle. With your contacts and experience, it will be smooth sailing.

Saturn shouldn't be in the 8th in the Solar Return given the distance we know Saturn (Scorpio) to be from Pluto (Capricorn) at present. It could be there natally, if that's what you're saying.

Are you using the Solar Return from last year or this year, Ian? There could be justifications for either potentially, but they might tell different stories.

I agree with iQ about Sun and Pluto being 8th being positive indicators for inheritance.

It's interesting about the Gemini Moon in father and son's chart.

Thank you for the reading, IQ.

It is interesting that my father, myself and my son have Moons in Gemini, as does my wife!

Acoustic God,

That Solar Return is for 2011, given that my birthday is December 28th. Should I use 12/28/2012 ?

Saturn is indeed in the 8th House in the 2011 Solar Return.

I think that if the business of the inheritance isn't over by the time of your birthday, then this year's Solar Return might come in to play.

quote:
Saturn is indeed in the 8th House in the 2011 Solar Return.

I'm having trouble figuring out how that's possible. Do you have a huge 8th house? My birthday is the 26th, so I looked at my own 2011 Solar Return as a reference. The Solar Return is where the planets are at the date and time of your birthday. Sun and Pluto are conjunct in Capricorn in mine (like yours), but Saturn is over two signs away in Libra. It seems like it would have to be a huge house to span over 60-some-odd degrees.

Saturn is/should-be nearly sextile (or more likely quintile) that Pluto. As it's in Libra, and Libra's a sign of money, I would think that would offer support to whatever happens (assuming your Solar Return chart is the one to use to predict such things). Also, if your 8th house isn't a huge house, and Saturn is in Libra as it ought to be, then there's a chance that Saturn is in your 5th at the very end. The 5th is the house of children, so hopefully that would bode well. A quintile aspect (72 degrees) is the closest aspect to be found between Saturn and Pluto in my Solar Return.

It's hard to use chart interps for a Solar Return interpretation. Here's more opinion on the aspect: http://whitefeatherastrology.com/blog/2012/08/28/saturn-quintile-pluto/

Seems to bode well.

Regarding the Moons, I also have a Mercury-sign-ruled Moon (Virgo). I do believe it adds an extra depth of thinking on things. Even as the Moon rules emotions I find that I can actively think on [and affect] my emotions at will. You can test to see if that's true of yourself.

Sorry about the wait. Got hit by Sandy over here.

Was his death sudden? With his transit it looks like it was quick. There's a lot of Uranus and mars going on which can be an accident, but I see more signs of massive stroke or heart attack because the sun is also involved and so is mercury and the 3 rd house.

Jupiter was square his sun and on his moon. Sun is heart.

Could be he fell and had a brain bleed too.

Jupiter is also on his moon. Jupiter is present often in death, like being released.

He has Pluto/node aspects both ways. T. Nn on his Pluto and t. Nn trine Pluto. It was his destiny to pass. Pluto is literally death and the nodes are destiny.

Again, so sorry about your loss.

I'm sorry AcousticGod. I've been tied up with the hurricane clean up, and I was affected as well.

Not much has been resolved thus far, but I would know a lot more by the end of next week.

So far, nobody has showed up with either: (1) a certificate of marriage, or (2) a positive paternity DNA test. Those are the minimum standards of the probate court.

Thank you very much.

It was a bronchial infection. He was just 76 years old and as healthy as can be. he had no medical ailments and his blood pressure was perfect. He exercised daily and led an active lifestyle.

None of us expected this and we were given only 5 days of notice that he was fading. I expected him to out-live my brother and I. The doctor told me brother to expect the end, and we thought the physician was incompetent. Within two days, my father went on a ventrilator with 100% oxygen. From then on, it quickly got incredibly bleak.

You're welcome.

Bronchial fits with mercury since mercury is lungs. I was going to say that, but it looked like it was so sudden and unexpected bc of the aspets and I had n o idea lung issues could come on so fast and hard. I guess you just never know when your time will come. It makes you pause.

Did you have any planets hitting your angles?

Lily,

I apologize that I have no astrology expertise and I don't know how to answer your question whether I have any "planets hitting my angles."

Would you like to see my chart to opine? If you would like transits as well, which date should I use?

Many thanks and best regards

Don't apologize. It's ok.
