I use transits/SR/Progressions to map events that will occur which I should know about, sometimes I can look at stuff that'll be happening in far out years.

I use horary for a specific question if it's a yes or no, also if I want some timing on the issue but now I've been using the charts in my own way and it has worked for detail

I use tarot to give me detail and insight onto a specific issue and it usually tells me what is to come in the nearish future

You said you had Neptune transiting your fifth house? I can see the effects, makes people idealise love to such an extent that they NEED it.
