Could someone tell me my Chart ruler? I'm thinking it's probably the Mars in Taurus in the eighth house. It appears to be the most aspected planet in my chart. I identify more with scorpio than my own Cancer Sun sometimes and I feel like that may be why?

Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Why you might feel 'Scorpionic':

1. Mars in the 8th can make one feel they have Scorpio undertones to their action nature.

2. Mars touching so many planets in the natal chart, including the chart ruler - the planet ruling over your ASC sign [For you Mercury since it's Virgo] - means you'll get a double-dose of Scorpio influences on many aspects of your self. Chart ruler, how you present yourself. Venus, how you express love. Etc.

3. Pluto, which rules Scorpio, falls in your 3rd, showing some intense, obsessive or maybe death-interested thinking. Do you feel you are either repelled by/afraid of death and the occult as an intellectual topic, or drawn to it? I've seen that with this placement. Note how Pluto squares your Mercury, a tension aspect which could make you have the harsher aspects of a Scorpio Mercury in your thinking modes... intense, psychoanalytical, obsessive, moody, etc. Combined with 3H Pluto, the house of Mercury, it can get intense. You probably think quite deeply and this is why you'll find you can align with Scorpio most of all, since Mercury is your chart ruler, remember! Pluto/Scorp seems to not only be a part of your outer identity, its in your thinking too.

I do find that I am fascinated with the occult...obsessed actually. Sometimes if I have nothing better to do, I'll go online and try to find things on the Illuminati,it's really really really weird.
