His Venus paired with your Mars seems just different enough to be interesting but not so different it will be detrimental. He is quirky and odd and you find it charming.

A big part of it will be how ready he is to commit... you may be ready faster than he is leading to temper tantrums, fits of jealousy (even if you are silent about it), etc.

One of you may enjoy more sexual experimentation and the other may object, liking things more natural and calm. But this creates boredom for the other partner.

It's not impossible, but it may be an emotional, draining experience at times while at other times, so happy you could cry.

I have, in the past, had 2 long-term relationships with people with Venus in Aquarius. One was an Aquarius Sun/Libra moon/Gemini rising (very airy chart) and we had a very peaceful, fun relationship and he was very sweet. I ended up leaving the relationship because my feelings changed for him, more to friends than lovers (but it took 4+ years, because we were so comfortable with each other).

The other long term relationship with the Aquarius Venus was with a Capricorn Sun/Virgo Moon, and that lasted 3 years...again, very kind person, and..again, my feelings changed - to one of friendship - and I left.

So here I am, once more, being attracted to a Venus in Aquarius - and a big part of it is that I sense great kindness, which obviously is important...but why all the Venus in Aquarius for me? Is it my Pisces Sun or Sagittarius Moon that is drawn to them? And is this another one doomed to end in friendship feelings on my end?

Of course, reading your comments, I can see this being a repeat pattern. Is it?

My Venus in Taurus is sooo barely in that sign (at 0'41°) that yes, I want demonstrations of love, but I also really like things to be different, not boring. I am the one who often gets bored, so I wonder if my Sagittarius moon is the issue in this? I literally panic when things become routine and look for the closest Exit sign (I can't help it, and I've tried!).

In any case, I didn't find anything about the last 2 relationships with Venus in Aquarius people to be too "odd", to be honest, in the sexual department to bother me. Maybe it is because of my very early Taurus in Venus placement? Or my Sun in Pisces? Or my moon? I'm not sure.

As for demonstrations of love...problem with my past relationships have been just that. It seems no one knows how to demonstrate love in the way that I feel right about. I've dated people with Venus in Leo and Scorpio as well - all failing in that department, long-term. They all seemed to try to show love in a way that didn't make me feel all warm and cozy, rather like, oh...how sweet but it didn't touch my heart - which was sad. This often led to frustrations on my end, like...why aren't they getting it right? And over time, that was part of what changed my feelings for them, I think.

I seem to end up with people with fixed sign Venus a lot, don't I?

@Geeky - Are you seeing that this could be a roller coaster relationship? Because I have had enough of those.

@starmoon - I've dated someone where we had a very intense chart, but it ended up being a mess of a relationship. Very strong feelings on both ends, but it got...to be too much. I don't need intensity to that extent anymore, but I do want longevity...but you say you don't see that here, so...

It's possible. How long have you been seeing him? Are you happy so far? (honestly) I have a Sag moon too and it takes A LOT to get me calm and happy enough to stick it out.

I often feel like something is missing and I get bored easily. I am drawn to roller coasters cause they're fun... but riding them too much makes me barf.

I settled with a Cappy. I am not sure with all of my fire & water that I could be stabilized by any other sign (maybe a Virgo?). When I dated a Taurus, he was Taurus asc, moon, Venus, and Mars too (crazy!) so I just got bored with his stubbornness and how he was unwilling to try new things or break his routine enough to allow me into his life.

I had this thought too when I revisited... a soul mate type of thing. Not all soul mates work out though. This has potential though.

StarsCollide: I wouldn't give up yet if you've just met. Me & my sweetie have a few bad things in our synastry too and if we were the "perfect" couple with no disagreements, I would be bored out of my mind.

I need to feel like I'm still living, ya know?

Besides, I don't want to marry myself (wonderful as I think I am lol).
