Hi all. I am not in alone in the sense that i do not have people who love me...I do.....but all my loved ones are either dead, living out of state or on another continent. I have had relationships but have never felt truly loved. I am single and childless and really miss the warmth and love of family and friends. Tonight I will see the new year in with my old and faithful dog and will fall asleep knowing that the new year will not be much different unless I understand what it is about ME that has made life turn out this way Thank You

I don't think anything predisposes you to loneliness. My thoughts are that Saturn is transiting your 12 house and has been for some time. This could cause you to withdraw and therefore the loneliness. (I love your kite formation! )When Saturn crosses your ascendant you will look forward to giving birth to a new you!! Exciting!!! This is a time when you will be doing a lot of reflection and it's okay!! Happy New year to you!IP: Logged |

Ah thank you starcrossedleo. Will you be able to tell me how long Saturn will transit my 12th? And when will it will it cross my ascendant? Its nice to know that the light at the end of my tunnel is not an oncoming train. I have been feeling myself slide into a kind of depression and this has given me some hope. Happy New Year to you too! IP: Logged |

Saturn stays in a sign approximately two and a half years. Saturn is in Scorpio for three years. Saturn entered your 12th house in nov 2010. Then in November 2011 it was was conjunct your mars. Saturn will leave your 12 h in late 2014. It seems like a long time but Saturn can be a time of work in the house it's in. 12th house is the house of the subconscious and the mind. So it may feel like a lot of time spent in the mind. You have Saturn natally in the 5th which is the house of love given. You have a Leo moon ( Leo natural ruler of the 5th). Your moon wants to love to play and to create! Saturn tries to restrict that and makes you work hard in this area. You say you have family and friends on another continent so in essence you have to work "harder" to give love But we all have Saturn somewhere natally and the house where we have Saturn is the house where we can reap the biggest rewards! Also we all have Saturn transiting somewhere and when Saturn finishes that transit it won't be back to the 12th for another 29 years. This is a time to look forward and not back. You can take stock of your accomplishments and what you might not have accomplished. Don't dwell on what you perceive to be your shortfalls and do not judge or evaluate them. Simply understand them. Does this make sense? IP: Logged |

Thank you starcrossedleo, yes it does. Its really hard though to take stock of my accomplishments because the things that I desire most love, freely expressing my creativity and generally having a less serious outlook on life seem so elusive. Astrologically it has always seemed that when the stars predict good things for me it turns out to be a damp squib and when tough times are predicted then hell yes it comes to pass Just to clarify Saturn is currently in Scorpio, will it move back to Libra (can it?) as I have Libra in the 12H? Thanks for taking the time and for the good advice. I will try not to dwell on my shortcomings and concentrate on working harder on my 5H focus IP: Logged |

Hi AllJust thought I would post my Natal as well as my Natal and Transit charts for clarity Mods I am not sure if this is the right place please feel free to move to the correct forum if not I see that I have Mars in Libra in the 12H how would the Saturn in Libra Ascendant impact on that And how will I be affected by the Saturn transit in Scorpio conjunct my ascendant What does it mean to have the Saturn transit in Scorpio while having Neptune in Scorpio natally? And how will this all be impacted by my natal Chron in the 5th? My urge is to find a cave and review my life and not come out until it is all over, but I know this is not practical. Given my chart, what would be the best way to ride this tide. Depression is knocking at the door am I meant to give in to it or fight it? Life is meaningless and mine at any rate seems to be a walking shadow. Please help me help myself Thanks again guys

Natukashii, I'm sorry you are feeling so sad. I believe that astrology helps us identify the energy in the sky and helps us to identify how it impacts us here on earth. We then can learn to work with that energy productively in its most highest form. I hope that helps. To answer your question about your 12h. It starts in libra and ends at 22 Scorpio for you. Saturn will not enter libra again until 2039. Your Neptune is generational. I also have Neptune in Scorpio in the 6th. Neptune is such a slow mover that everyone in your generation has it in Scorpio. I'm not sure I answered all your questions Do you study astrology regularly? You seem to have a good understanding. Hugs to you on this New Years day! Starcrossed

Starcrossedleo, thank you once again. I have a deep interest in astrology but have no skill in analysing charts etc. I tend to look up aspects but have some difficulty pulling it all together. I will look up the link. Im touched by your patience and kindness. Thanks for spending all this time and effort on my chart. Hugs to you too. Hope you are having an awesome New Years Day and that you have an even better year . IP: Logged |

Yeah... honey it's a temporary phase. If you are feeling lonely & reflective, sometimes you just have to go through it. I have bi-polar disorder and when I am having my "down" days, I can't fight it by pushing forward. People telling me to cheer up or snap out of it just make it worse. Sometimes I just have to put on sad music and drown in my sadness. Or go to bed. I come out of my funk faster if I just allow myself to experience it. I don't ever get suicidal though... so this would NOT work for other people with bi-polar disorder (or depression). Can you climb into your cave just for a day and just go through the intensity? Stay in bed, eat in bed, watch tv in bed... whatever? If you do this, you have to keep a promise to yourself that you are going to go through it and get out of bed the next day. But this isn't astrological advice so let me take another look. ------------------ "Most people would rather be sheep and have company than stand out on their own with antlers on." — Tori Amos IP: Logged |

I don't see anything in your chart aside from being sensitive & shy... are you?Sometimes people who are like you retreat a bit in order to avoid being emotional or overwhelmed and this might lead to a feeling of loneliness. Also, is your view typically very idealistic? If this is the case, when people let you down it bothers you more deeply than most. ------------------ "Most people would rather be sheep and have company than stand out on their own with antlers on." — Tori Amos IP: Logged |

And I am quite reserved. Funny you should say that i should spend the day in my cave/bed. I feel i really need that but I'm fighting it at some level because I guess I am afraid I will never get out. I dont want to medicate myself against the feeling i just wish it would go away. I know that as you say this too shall pass. Can i manage a few years like this? I will try. Not reaching out means not getting rejected but is it worth the pain of loneliness? Yesterday an aunt and a cousin I hardly see as they live out of state visited me unexpectedly so they day turned out better than I hoped.
Thanks for the advise both personal and astrological. love, light and blessings to both you and starcrossedleo
