There are two themes here! One is saturn, the other is neptune. The sun and moon are BOTH square saturn in composite as well as synastry. The sun and moon are also significantly affected by neptune in synastry since you have sun square neptune in synastry and Double Whammy negative Moon-Neptune aspects. As well as mars square neptune (in synastry).

One of the themes will obviously be mutual criticism...(saturn) You both feel restricted by the other, like the other person doesn't listen to your emotional needs and is too serious and demanding of you.

The other theme (neptune) is "You can act very silly and childish together. When the two of you get together, you love to let your imaginations run wild. You have difficulty accomplishing anything of a serious or mundane nature together, and you prefer to explore artistic, religious, and metaphysical areas, rather than focus on more mundane affairs."

that means it is difficult for both people to be responsible around the other person. It's much easier to be silly and goof off and be impractical and forgetful. Do you feel a lot like you have to be HER mom, when she should be acting like your mom? Like she is irresponsible towards you and doesn't take care of the chores that need to be done, etc?

Basically, the composite is at first sight what would seem to be a good composite, with Sun conjunct venus and moon square venus as well as moon trine mercury, moon sextile mars and moon trine jupiter. Sun is also opposite pluto. This all means you can have fun together and share much affection. However, the saturn, uranus, and neptune issues oftentimes prevent that from happening. Sun and moon is square saturn in both synastry and composite. moon and venus are afflicted by uranus and saturn in composite, and sun and moon are also heavily afflicted by neptune in synastry. That means a lot of mutual criticism and sense of restriction (saturn), irresponsibility and impracticality (neptune), as well as instability and lack of being able to count on one another(uranus).

Composite mercury square mars doesn't help one bit, as it guarrantees arguments.

EDIT: Composite moon trine mercury is especially a blessing in this instance, because it means you can talk about your feelings to one another and feel listened to, however that doesn't mean that the person will change or will ACTUALLY listen (as is the case with saturn always ignoring emotional needs and saying RULES FIRST). But at least that aspect is definitely an outlet.
