it's not bad. the disadvantage i see is perhaps too much similarity; you share some major sign placements and it could be too much of a good thing, not challenging enough to maintain interest in one another, or just too boring. but, you have several nice synastry contacts to offset that. you have saturn opposite venus; that could be a problem eventually, but in my experiences it's actually very binding and draws couples together more than apart. i like how closely aspected your mercury signs are, and also how well aspected his venus is to your mercury; it should make communication betwen you guys much easier than average, which is great for couples. his venus/mercury are also in your 1st house, which should make for an even closer connection, that is a nice spot for a venus to be in, imo. i would think that of the two people you might struggle more with the feelings in this relationship since you have a cap moon (a colder sign) and signs in the 12th house and some of his planets fall in there; he might be awakening things in your that you haven't dealt with before, especially with that pluto-mars.but it's fairly good overall, i'd be optimistic :-)

The person with the unaspected moon is going to feel a disconnect from the other person.

The Venus opposition Saturn and Saturn conjunct Descendant suggests a very stiffling, restrictive energy. The Venus conjunct mercury is a great aspect to have, and I see a few of your planets fall in his 7th house so that's awesome too, but seeing what I mentioned above ^ I don't think the relationship will be a very fulfilling one, nor will it be long lasting.
