Hi! When Saturn hits a natal planet in our charts, there is obviously some sort of significance.
Saturn means structure and discipline and when saturn aspects a natal planet, it adds "structure and discipline" to that planet, and as a result we will start to feel these effects.
(The tighter the aspect, in terms of degrees; results in a the enhancement of saturn's effect)
For you, inaworldofsong:
Saturn conjunct Natal Mercury:
A time when mental discipline and application pay off. You could put time and energy into getting tough training or rigorous academic courses. A serious mind frame can easily make you super critical of yourself and anyone and anything that doesn't match up to your exacting standards. Or you may think a parent, principal or boss is unreasonably demanding of you. Mature but positive thinking is what you need. Keep centered in dealing with any potential confrontations at school or with siblings.
Saturn conjunct Natal Jupiter:
Saturn brings both rewards and fines. Common sense and the structures resulting from practicality lay the foundation for a productive tomorrow. Your best bet now is step by step achievement leading to greater opportunity. Look at the causes behind your circumstances; where there may have been failure, you can now find room to succeed.
Saturn conjunct Natal Pluto:
Regardless of intense times and difficult scenarios, you can make progress now like never before through your fierce determination to effect far-reaching changes that allow you to reach your goals. For some this could mean a life and death confrontation. Hard issues with father figures are likely to come crashing in. Check out the house position the conjunction falls in to see what area of your life is most affected. Status, future plans and reputation may be at stake now. Without the power to determine one's destiny, violent and dark frustration surface. Nevertheless, the inner fortitude you develop now helps you tap reserves of inner power and stamina. The cool part is this transit happens only once every thirty years.
I assume you could use a maximum orb aspect of "6 degrees" as a conjunction.
I hope this helps you!
