The question is will Mic make a commitment to me?

So... I presume I'm signified by Mercury since the Asc is in Virgo (hoping the Asc isn't too late too!) plus the Moon and possibly Venus? He's represented by Neptune (ruler of the 7th in this case) plus the Sun and perhaps Mars?

In which case since the Sun/Moon/Mercury are all fairly closely conjunct in the 4th house I'm guessing that could mean the answer to my question is a 'yes' in the sense that we'll set up home together (home being 4th house stuff.) However then you look at Neptune (his first significator) and it's not aspecting Merc/Sun/Moon however it is Sextile Venus... good sign or neither here nor there?

Also noticed that Mars is in the 5th and would that therefore mean he might view this as more of a fun/romance than something to commit to long term? That's completely contradictory to everything he's said by the way but there we are. Neptune being in the 6th - might that mean he feels it's almost his 'duty' to try this commitment perhaps? If so yuck!! ;D Not so sure I'm a fan of Uranus being in the 7th house where this question is concerned either but you pays yer money and takes yer choice I suppose.

He is in Merc natural ruler, but makes no aspects to you.
I think since he's in Merc ruler he likes you, but may be Upset with you right now.. Or are u mad at him.
The moon is void, so no changes at this time.
Maybe once u Merc moves into aqua there will be some communication.. You will then trine him..

But you are moving towards sun. Is there another male... maybe you will meet some one else.

Oh my horary is tough!!! But you learn something every day and I had no idea (despite this bloomin book!) that you use traditional rulers so thanks for that Lioness!

I think at the time I drew the chart (things have moved on a little since then) I was a tiny bit annoyed with him for various reasons but there's definitely no one else on my horizon and there doesn't appear to be on his. We've been having a trial run at living together - reason being is that he lives about 110 miles away and whilst he has no ties (no kids etc) and his job can be done from anywhere, it's still a big move given that if it doesn't work he'd be in a new city with nowhere to live! I've made that mistake a time or two so I understand it completely. But he's staying with me and my little boy 6 nights a week and only going back once a week to check on the house/mail, give a guitar lesson to a friend's kid and rehearse with his band mate... so I'd call that a good 'run up' to commitment. Especially for a Sagittarius male!

I just redrew the chart for this evening basically to see if I could find evidence of the slight shift I've felt and noticed the following:

Me - Merc (Asc in Virgo) Moon, Venus
Him - Jupiter (Dc in Pisces) Sun, Mars

Mercury 0 Aqua
Jupiter 6 Gemini
Therefore we are now trine as you predicted, which explains the softening I feel towards him and the opening up he felt capable of to me this week.

Sun 29 Cap
Mercury 0 Aqua
Conjunction in the 5th – therefore at the moment perhaps he’s committed to having fun and being romantic with me? Keeping things light? Also wants to make it more about my son (5th house children vibe) at the moment and build that relationship which he’s been doing a lot of this week.

There's no aspect between any of the other significators as far as I can see but other things I noticed are that Jupiter is in the 10th (still retrograde which is funny because he's going back over a lot of things in his life at the moment) and he is quite snowed under with work at the moment (been a busy week for him) and he was talking about a change of job a few days ago.

Venus is in the 4th and I'm ALL about the home right now!!

Mars 6th – maybe he feels it’s his duty to act somehow hence the mixed emotions/guilt he feels towards leaving his hometown?

Am I on the right lines with those thoughts would you say?

I do think he cares since he's in Merc ruler..

You said u were annoyed before that showed with you being in cap, jup and cap not getting along.. Or having disagreements..
But u moved into aqua so its better...
Communication should have gotten better..

I personally don't use sun Venus as 2nd sig... I know others do.. But a method I've been learning doesn't..

I use the planets and the house rulers...
The sun is a male and it rules ur h12..
To be it suggest another male in ur life.. Since it rules h12, its hidden from you.. Or maybe someone u don't know... Hey maybe u have a secret admirer...lol
