Venus, Mercury, the Sun and Pluto are all in Capricorn in this chart. Venus in Capricorn is serious and more realistic versus head in the clouds and dreamy - not a lot of intense longing or nostalgia here, more like facing the facts. Venus is squaring Uranus in Aries showing that a sudden reconciliation is possible and out of the blue... and might shake things up in either a good or bad way. Weird circumstances like suddenly coming back into each others' lives will shake up both your love lives. This unexpected event is going against the pragmatism you're seeking in love - maybe to move on and get things in order. You want stability and yet you want change - maybe to be together again. It's tough. Then there is Mars in Aquarius squaring Scorp Saturn. Not another tremendously positive sign. Might show delayed progress in getting back together, since you want to act on your sudden impulses [Aqua Mars] and yet certain factors [maybe related to home life since Saturn is in the 4th] might be keeping you from making relationship progress.
The Moon is in Sagittarius showing the restless emotional nature that comes into play in the situation. It squares the Aqua Mars in the 7th of partnerships showing you will be emotionally heated about getting back together... that it will stir volatile passions inside your heart. One of you might act on intense feelings related to love and romance [Moon in 5th] as an emotional plea to get back together. There might be heated and emotional discussions about why you should never have broken up, what the relationship means, or why it will/won't work. Jupiter is trine Mars and shows that one of you will be very enthusiastic about taking an aggressive and straightforward approach that's unique about getting back together. It's unchecked energy, especially since it's in Gemini.
It shows that you probably will have a hard time convincing the other person to get back together. One or both of you might have a lot on your plate concerning work. One of you might want to make more progress and be together again, but the other is going to be pragmatic and fight it. It doesn't show that there is no hope. It shows that one of you is wanting change more than the other.
ASC is in Leo showing you might both approach the situation in a fiery and intense way. It will not be a depressive sort of meeting, but has a tendency to go out of control in terms of bizarreness when Aqua DES [descendant] falls in the 0, unlimited and unchecked degree. Things might be happening outside of your control.
Sun is conjunct Mercury but doesn't seem to be combust. It means that you two will probably be doing a ton of talking about things, in a practical way. The Sun seems to be un-aspected as well, showing a serious nature coming behind the meeting from the Cap influence. The fact that all the Cap planets fall in the 6th show that maybe, the meeting will occur at work, or it has something to do with daily practicalities related to Virgo. A lot of the conversation could center around work concerning the relationship, maybe? Uranus square Mercury shows that a sort of idealism [Uranus in the 9th] might come into play that affects the way you're thinking about things. One of you might want to be way more progressive and want change and the other might not want this.
I believe Neptune is also positively contacting your Venus and Moon. This shows that one or both of you are secretly or maybe openly idealistic, nostalgic and romantic about reconciling things.
