Hello all! I am wondering about the composite and/or synastry between me and this guy. Which would be most significant? I have heard that composites are used only if a relationship is involved...I've also read some about love stellium and it looks like we may have one, not sure though.

I have natal charts with the composite and the synastry chart. Can someone dissect please?

This is from Cafe Astrology - there are a couple of pages worth of stuff there to check out both on synastry and composite.

http://cafeastrology.com/compositechartdetails.html

---

Composite Sun in the 11th House.

You treat each other as true peers. Both friendship and freedom to be yourselves form the basis of your relationship. This partnership has much potential to be a rewarding, lighthearted, and creative one. Although it may not ever feel like a true partnership or commitment with each other, the spirit of acceptance generated between the two of you makes you feel appreciated. Still, one or either of you may wish for more intimacy from each other and less freedom! In order for this partnership to function best, however, neither of you should try to force a commitment from the other.

Thanks Imeanj! I've fumbled around cafeastrology before...good site, good info.

I decided to post the synastry with vertex and chiron.
Can anyone else take a shot at reading our relationship potential, please...I'd be so grateful?

Your composite does have a love stellium, with Sun, Venus and Mercury appearing conjunct. However, the composite also contains Moon conjunct Uranus, which can bring about strage situations, and not to mention it's hard to tell whether Uranus squares any part of that love stellium, which can destabilize the relationship. However, I have seen Uranus afflicted relationships last, but only when both partners accept that things will not really go as planned, and not to "force" anything, especially traditional ideas of relationships. Saturn conjunct Pluto in the 12th house can be problematic. Make sure that you are honest about your feelings, so there is no power struggle, abusive behavior or manipulative stuff going on. On the other hand you two have great staying power.
Ruler of the 7th house in the composite is in the love stellium, which is very nice. However I still feel like some aspects on this relationship are going to be a little unusual.

In synastry your 7th house ruler is squared by his Sun/Moon conjunction. I can see how you are sexually attracted to his cardinal qualities though this can be a bit conflicting, as he may not display EXACT traits of your ideal guy. Might be a fair bit of competition between you two. Not very many of your planets aspect his 7th house ruler except for your 5th house ruler Uranus sextile his Mercury, which is pleasant but you might need a little more.

I think the composite is stronger, which means that a relationship is workable but synastry is showing conflicts and sometimes marked differences.

I could be wrong though, and you two could be perfect for each other. Let me know.

your composite chart is stronger w/this person and you have a love stellium that conjuncts sun-venus-mercury, but the moon is absent from that, which means the relationship could lack emotional connectivity. in the synastry you do not have any good house overlays with one another, excepting his mars falls into your 8th, so there was likely sexual attraction first. his venus is in the 12th house, so that energy may not be expressed by him, and since two of your signs, both the mars and venus are in contact with his venus it makes it a negative in my opinion. you might be able to draw out some affection from him, but your placements in general don't mesh well with his, imo

Thanks LSC and starmoon. Me and guy have recently connected after a month of no contact due to a disagreement. We are friends now because he's not ready.

LSC not sure if uranus makes contact with the stellium, the chart is.small....im going to take a look though. I asked about synastry compared to composite after reading a few topics here where it was mentioned that composite is important.

I love this kid and believe he loves me too and I know that it defenitely wouldnt be traditional relationship but I do want a solid commitment and thats whats being worked on now.

Starmoon? There aren't any other aspects besides the ones mentioned to make for a nice connection. Ive done some reports on astro and they had some good things to say....im kinda bummed now. I know its free will but im still bummed.

LSC here is a bigger shot of the composite...it has the chart below...looks like maybe moon is conjunct uranus

I feel you about being bummed by charts sometimes. Tbh, it can only point to obstacles. So no need to get yourself down, astrid. Though I understand where you are coming from.

I don't think Uranus is square given that the orbs are verrry far apart, but I see the red square lines which are confusing me. Even still, Moon-Uranus by itself can mean confusion regarding emotional stability. On the brighter side, excitement.

there are good things for sure! you have a sun-venus connection which would indicate that you find one another attractive; you have your venus conjunct mercury both ways, so communication is easier between you both, and you have (in composite) venus sextile jupiter, which is very lucky. i think astrologers are a bit like doctors or psychologists or anyone who offers advice/treatment - everyone looks at different things and judges charts based on what they're looking for. so, some people will see a chart and not see anything great and someone else will see lots to like. i don't like your synastry chart w/this guy. i'd like to see many more conjunctions and house overlays which bring romance, and a lack of those generally mean it might be a relationship, but not a long-term/marriage one :-)
