You're working towards something with him, but you are also looking for the truth. There seems to be a profound lack of trust or certainty that's causing you to work so hard to make it "perfect." The 5 of Wands says you are actively trying to make this work, but it's difficult. Lots of frustrated energy. A "going nowhere fast" feeling.

He's a dreamer, someone who rushes headlong without thinking. He lives in the moment. Is either extremely over-bearing or gives into vices quite a lot (too much booze, too many women, etc.) The devil is a tough card. He could also be dealing with these issues; 10 of Swords is defeat, giving up. Letting go. At any rate, these cards suggest a sort of denial to me.

4 of Cups says an offer is going to be made, but both of you need to consider it very carefully before a decision is made. Either that, or the offers already out on the table, and one or the other hasn't made a decision. Seems to me like it might be him; I think he might be enjoying the good life. Is he a bachelor? Seems like he is acting like one regardless.

thank you for getting back to me on this.
there is a lack of trust on my part because
every time we get close he always does or says something that seems to be like throwing cold water on the relationship.

He is everything you said a dreamer and living the good life..and is currently chasing many women.

He wanted me to come see him but i decided not to.He knows where i stand and that i don't have casual sexual relationships.

So i don't know why he keeps coming back to me. He is a bachelor.
This relationship started many years ago. And i thought we really had something, but when he came back either he really changed for the worse..Or mabey i am seeing him clearly for the first time.
