Hello everyone! I have four interviews lined up this week. One of them is actually with a place that I interviewed with last year (May 2012) - I had two interviews but they went with someone else (it was down to me and another person). I got a call from them yesterday, completely out of the blue, asking me to interview for another spot. (Interestingly, Mercury is retrograde in my 2nd house). The other interviews are for positions that I applied for last month and I pretty much gave up, so they are pretty out of the blue as well.

Anyway, how does it look? The significators are retrograde so I am a little worried:

The Retro significators might indicate a delay, maybe not start immediately. They are applying, also your Moon is applying to Saturn. Looks you will get an offer.

-The Moon isn't yet applying to Saturn, PLUS she is first making aspects to Sun AND Jupiter. Interference - someone else gets the job.

-Mercury may apply to Saturn but because Sat is RX, it looks like it's running away, avoiding Mercury. Plus, Mars comes in the way (you will find another job). Sun also comes in the way, applying to Saturn by trine. Sun is who will get the job from Saturn.

That is if we want Saturn = ruler of MC. Because you have a good shot with Mars, ruler of the 6th. If you're looking for a job, Mars is what you need. If you want a career, then stick to Sat but doesn't look good indeed. It looks like they will go with someone else again. However, like I said, if you're not interested in a high profile job and could do with a more.. modest one, you have good chances of stumbling upon one. At least it pays the bills. It is going to be a temp job but one that you will like. Your employers however will not be fully satisfied, probably because it will be clear that you won't stay with them.

Thank you Tofu & Hera!

Here is my long, TMI, Downtomars-style explanation:

I just got back from the interview with the place that called me after interviewing me twice in May. It went well, they really didn't ask too much and they scheduled me for a second interview on Friday. This job is actually not really a career position. In fact, it is an administrative assistant (secretarial) position. That kind of makes me think that it is a sixth house job. It is actually working with parolees, which is a rather Piscean.

The interview tomorrow is definitely a career position. It is a project coordinator position in a non-profit. I am actually quite shocked that they called me for this one because it is not really my specialty. They must need to fill a quota.

The interview Thursday is an office manager position but I am totally not into it. It is not something that I like doing (especially in a medical office), and my commute would be pretty far, but it is something.

The interview Friday is actually in my area of expertise (human resources) but it is part-time, work from home (reputable company) and I don't know. I don't know if I'd like working from home, but, it is something.

Actually, I would not consider any of these jobs to be "career builders", except for maybe the project coordinator but even that is not what I am looking to do for a living.

I don't know. I will take any one of them at this point.

Last aspect Moon makes is the opposition to Mars. I think you're going to get the Mars job. Hard to tell which is which. Moon makes 2 contacts in 2 time units (days I presume), Mercury applies to Mars in 1 time unit. They're all angular (minus Jupiter but he is the receptive party). So things will happen pretty fast, I think you will also get feedback/verdicts from the interviews pretty fast.
Mars is either the interview tomorrow or the last one. Hard to tell because both your significators apply to him. With different orbs = time units.

Mars is good in Pisces, it's in triplicity, it is angular in the 10th. Though it may start out as a more modest job it might prove beneficial to you. Like I said, you will enjoy it! And yeah, you do need a job pronto! Mercury is pretty weak in its detriment and Rx and I remember your SO was in a difficult spot as well, so yeah, I think Mars is a good chance for you. Good luck, hun!!!

Thank you again Tofu and Hera! I am hoping for the best and going into each interview with good intentions, not psyching myself up or out.

Unfortunately, I no longer have a SO. I still have to deal with my own job/financial issues though, takes my mind off of things.

I'm sorry to hear that about your SO. But I wouldn't worry much about that now, you're a wonderful gal DTM and will find someone else for sure.

Thank you Hera! I

Another quick horary question: I had to reschedule interviews and now the interview that I had for today is now on Friday, the same day as the second interview (one is in the morning and one is in the afternoon).

Interestingly, Hera, you mentioned that today's interview (that I rescheduled for Friday), or the last interview would be the one that I got.

The one that was for today actually has to do with a food-based charity. Now, would that be considered a 4th house type of job (because of food)? Although I consider it to be slightly career-y (in title only) it is a warehouse type of thing where I would only have to dress up every once in a while. Could that possibly be my best bet? The Moon is food also, so, hmmm?

That is a bit over my head tbh to say which is which, not to mention that I am a bit confused now lol. But it seems like it, yes! Moon is food. 6th house is also food (dieting, medication etc) so it seems like this might be it.

Yay! I got the job! The one working with parolees! Even though it is not a high profile position, it pays more than any job I've ever had, and that includes corporate positions! I am so happy, I needed this...

Interesting that it's 1 week after you raised the chart. Orb between Mercury-Mars = 1 deg.

I am happy for you, DTM!! Congratulations!! While I thought you will get one of them, I found it pretty confusing to attribute a planet to each of them. I will look at this later to get more clues. Thank you for the feedback and solving my puzzle lol.

And yay, girl!! You got the job!!!!
