It's a different type of information Lenormand is better for facts, gives more detail Tarot is for general dynamic of the situation, better for feelings/influences, there's a broader spectrum of motivations, human types.... IP: Logged |

Lenormand is much more direct. And eerily accurate with details, such as features & characterisitcs of a person.I agree with AS. to get totally in depth, tarot is the way to go. nitty gritty- Lenormand IP: Logged |

Lenormand is more to the point and direct. I also find it to be more precise. Tarot is too ambivalent.IP: Logged |

I'm really just learning lenormand, but it's pretty weirdMy background in literature is not enough to interpret it properly, my brain feels twisted Guess its like Japanese hieroglyphs to a great extent, meanings changing depending on the way the cards are combined. Tarot is sooooo much easier to read IP: Logged |

I have found the lenormand to be very accurate. I am still learning to read them but use little cheat sheet that was included and found it to be spot on. I was wondering if it is read same as tarot in the respect of past, present and future or is it different ? IP: Logged |

Example .... I drew the moon, the cross and the gentleman. But that is what happened in the past. So I drew again and got the mountain rx , the boat and the key. Is it telling me it is a useless attempt or that in the future that a solution to my problems is within reach? IP: Logged |

I find Lenormand to be 10x easier. I guess it depends on the person. I have been told in the past I have some type of "gypsy" -shrugsThe grand tableu can be read with past/present/future, but you have to use all 36 cards. Some people don't read it like that though IP: Logged |

Lol I find it easier to read gt than like a 5 card spreadFor whatever reason And also I think the lenormand deck is less of an animate object. I am convinced that amateurs/people with no gift will never learn to read tarot just because the deck won't speak to them. Lenormand doesn't give me that impression but what do I know? Does anyone feel that way about lenormand? IP: Logged |

I have read the opposite. Lenormand is more intuitive than Tarot. Of course, these are simply opinions & not based on facts IP: Logged |

I personally find it easier to read than tarot as it is direct and to the point. I read somewhere that w/ tarot when all three cards are reversed it is just letting you know something is very important and should be read as if upright instead of reversed. Do you find the same w/ lenormand or would you read them all reversed.? IP: Logged |

I'm not a believer in reversalsif the spirit wants you to know something it will give you all the info through the upright cards. It is a matter of choice. IP: Logged |

I trust Lenormands if I want a clear cut answer. I too feel Tarot tends to be more ambivalent. I have periods when Tarot speaks to me more, others when Lenormands do. I don't know if I actually have a gift lol but sometimes it delivers the message I need to hear even though it is more intuitively felt/presented. Sometimes with Lenormands I just don't get what they're trying to say lol. IP: Logged |

Hera I didn't mean a gift per seYou know what it's like some people are good at cooking, some at drawing some at reading cards I am quite realistic about my cooking IP: Logged |

It's what I meant too lol. I have no idea if I'm actually good. To me, the cards make sense when I am supposed to get a message, but they don't always *speak* to me. So I can't really control it, which I guess means I am not so good at it lol. IP: Logged |
