Moon Aquarius
Merc Libra
Venus Cancer
Mars Cancer
Jupiter Capricorn
Saturn Aries
Uranus Aquarius
Neptune Capricorn
Pluto Sagittarius

His Aqua moon has become more evident as I have gotten to know him (I've known him for several years). His venus and mars in cancer seem to contradict his aqua moon tendencies. I think he projects his venus onto me, because i find myself taking on a cancer/motherly role when around him even though i don't have any water influences in my chart. It's frustrating because it seems like he would want a motherly, feminine, devoted, even clingy type of woman. But in reality, his aqua moon makes him detached and craving freedom from a mate. What does he really want in a relationship?

Woah his chart is quite difficult. He probably appears really detached, but then comes on strong occasionally but then quickly backs off? I can imagine lots of hot and cold behaviour right? And him being really passive and confused. How's your chart like?
He's passionate, but keeps the feelings inside. Not really an open book.
He'll be intense, have trust issues, fight some slight inclination for mind games occasional
Ly and can be very moody and passive aggressive.

I'm a woman with sun cancer moon aquarius, venus gemini, mercury cancer. I crave closeness but if I feel smothered I quickly back off. I would say my moon makes me a detached an observant person.when it comes to guys I'm usually attracted to the plutonian types or gemini types. But I have pluto in my eighth. What I would say is don't take it personally amd just give him space.I'm not sure what else to say about this moon placement.

I've come to notice tht moon sign plays a more important need for men than their venus signs. He probably feels more comfortable with aquarius but attracted to cancer.. though the best is with both worlds... I don't know if i makes sense to you.

I have Aquarius moon. I'm detached emotionally but it runs deep when I'm in love. I'm an observer too. I get curious first about a person before I fall in love.

Haplesschild...it's definitely hot and cold behavior. And i think he is confused about what he wants. Intense is a good way to put it. He has trouble sharing feelings, and very observant. This is my chart:

Ascendant - Sagittarius
Sun - Gemini 6th house

elixir...great advice thank you. I think i have trouble with not taking it personally and giving him space because of my leo moon. From what i understand people with the moon in the 8th makes them intensely attached to people. Maybe that's my problem.

lilithpluto...I think you're right even though I don't fully understand how both is an option.

I've had moon in leo guys attracted to me and they felt hurt by me because I was so detached.. but I can't help it. Maybe my aquarius moon makes me aloof and I take a long time to absorb the other person before I decide I can trust them. This guy has venus in cancer too and cancer is known for protecting itself.

I have an aqua moon and so does my bf. I know for a fact that the best way to get an aqua moon to chase you or clamour for contact is to try and be like them. Be nonchalant, cool and a little distant. Don't respond to their calls immediately, take time, give them a little space and act cool. It works everytime - simple psychology goes a long way. I was told by a very wise person that you cannot accidetally lose a good relationship. So, don't be nervous that your coolness will drive him away. If the realtionship had teeth, it will have the reverse effect.
