I'm putting this here in Personal Readings because eventually I might whip out my chart, however this isn't intended solely for me. I'd like to know who else has this type of reaction too. Whenever I befriend self-absorbed people, I tend to always try to impress them. I love trying to impress them, performing, dazzling them. They might not verbally say anything but I know when I'm doing "good" and when I'm not. Why do I do this instead of walking away to find other people who are more appreciative? Seems warped to me.

Where do we look for this type of behavior? Mars, because it's action oriented? Has to do with the drive and pursuit of winning approval?

Does it still count as being insecure if you like performing though? When I say "performing" I just mean being more witty than usual, showing off my talents, upping my game up basically. I have above average confidence but not skyrocketing or anything but am proud of my talents.
