Hi,

I've tried horary questions before and have never had a 'yes' answer. This one looked more positive at first sight, but a closer look reveals not such good things. I'm trying to learn horary and hope one day to stop asking for your help. In the meantime, I would be so grateful for your insights.

Question; Will our meeting in March go well?

Mercury (ruler of Gemini) squares Jupiter (ruler of Sag), for example. Could that mean that we won't meet or will it be challenging? But there are good aspects between Venus, Moon and Saturn.

I'm not sure what to tell you. I looked at it briefly and it seems like it might get postponed due to Moon in Capricorn where he (Jupiter in Gemini) is @ fall. Both of your significators are in detriment, but mutual reception, which means you both like each other + would like to meet. However, not sure why he's in your 12th...did you two meet online & have never seen each other prior?

Also you're rx, you might change your mind about it, and postpone it (Moon, your co-sig is in Capricorn where Jupiter "falls"), which may mean something to do with his health/job (ruler of Capricorn is Saturn rx in Scorpio 6th house) or vice versa..

Let me know how that sounds, and keep me updated if you can :]

Thanks Empress. Yes, we met online and have met before. This is a long awaited meeting which is planned for the 3rd week of March, but his job could result in delays. The delays, if they occur, are likely to be from his side. So, we could very well meet in the first week of April. Does that look more likely?

Aspects mean action, unless another planet interferes. You both apply so I think there will be a meeting, like Empress said, in 4 weeks or so. The very good reception IMO cancels the bad square and an aspect is movement. I do think, though, that the square means lots of nerves before the meeting, but overall it should go well. He Jup showed up in your 12H because you don't know him lol. I have seen that a couple of times in questions about online meetings.

There is something that slightly bothers me and that is the quincunx from Moon applying to Jup.. Now quincunxes are not Ptolemaic aspects but I consider them and there might be something going on there.. Usually the Moon is the querent but it's not always the case and it doesn't look so here, esp with Moon in his house. If it's another person, Moon comes between you guys and might cancel the meeting. It is angular and has more power than you, though applies through a minor aspect. I hope that is not the case.

Could I pease ask how you arrived at a 4 week estimate. So, number of degrees between which planets?

@astrokeen - Its more if the planets are aspects are applying or separating. That is, applying means that its going to happen and separating is that its happened in the past. The degrees usually give a count, and then its in days, weeks or months - depending.

The aspects square v trine, etc, usually is more about if there's effort required. ie, a square is just a harder aspect than a trine.

The Moon is not always the querent, Imeanj. Often, yes, but not always. Sometimes it signifies other people. I cannot know for sure if it is or isn't, only time will tell. But by the looks of it, Moon prohibits with a different time (2-3 days/weeks), which makes me suspect is something other than the querent that comes in between. I don't think the prohibition will cancel the meeting (esp not without a ptolemaic aspect), but it will cause some anxiety/frustration. Moon is ruler of the quesited's 8th or 9th houses, so might be something to do with those, that might interfere.
