Hi YTA,

Wow, words can't describe my feelings. Thank so much for this. I’m glad that you don’t find my questions and my curiosity offensive.

I’ve thought a lot about what I want to ask you. Some of my questions won’t have much to do with astrology, but rather personal. I won’t mince words coz I lack finesse (aries moon in 3rd house). At any time my questions seem offensive, please accept my apology and know that it wasn’t intentional.

I have been studying accounting and I like it. The only thing that holds me back a bit is the fact that I don’t know much about the business world and “climbing the ladder”, but from what I do know, it’s a dog eat dog world. And I wonder if my sensitivity can survive it.

I’ve noticed that you have pisces ascendant oppose pluto and Uranus, square your moon. How do you think it affect your business practice? Have you ever felt that because of your job, you have to do things which are against your personal values or your feelings?

12muddy,

Please accept my forum friendship. And then we can dispose off all the formalities and not have to thread gently around sensitive issues. As you already know, I do not mince words myself and I am abrupt and direct. The bottom line is that I will answer every single question you ask. To the extent that I cannot answer or would not answer, I will inform you in all candor, so please don't worry about sensitivities.

I know little about astrology, and honestly it conflicts with my religious beliefs. However, I am always willing to keep an open mind. My journey to this forum has mostly to do with trying to relate astrology to my personal life, so nothing in my personal life is out of bounds.

In short, your personal conduct and choices ought to reflect your personal values and convictions. Life is always what you make of it. Lead your life via your moral convictions and guiding principals. Don't sway from your fundamental beliefs and you will do well.

I'm glad that you like accounting - and since you used the word "accounting," I gather that youa re American. Otherwise, you would probably have used "accountancy."

The business world is often a sojourn through hell in order to arrive at Heaven You do not need to know much about the "corporate ladder." You just need to focus on your own personal performance and conduct. This is because you are measuring up to your own established standards. You should be your own harshest critic and your most ardent supporter and most generous source of praise.

It can indeed be a dog-eat-dog world. The trouble with those nasty dogs is that they are too occupied with sticking knives in the backs of other dogs that they end up walking through the many minefields in the business world. Always watch your back, but more importantly, always also watch your front. Watch where you are stepping. Be your own eyes and ears.

Back to work, as you know, I am a banker. I finished graduate school in the 1980s. As you know, those were the infancy days of the leverage buyout, the "junk bond" and the hostile tender offer. In fact, my then girlfriend and I engaged in stock market investments via a limited partnership and we made a truckload of money. But I didn't choose a career in those aspects of finance.

However, as I moved along in my career and up the chain, I consciously switched out from M&A and venture capital into the credit world, where I evaluate transations to identify and mitigate risk, to negotiate terms and conditions to protect the enterprise, and most importantly to prevent questionable business practices. Could I have gone on to structure hostile tender offers? Sure. I could also have structured securitizations, collateralized debt obligations and derivatives. I could have made a ton more money. But I didn't.

In sum, if you don't like the situation, influence matters to the best of your abilities to your advantage. If there are ethical dilemmas, consult your superiors and speak to someone you trust. Don't do anything that is against your fundamental beliefs. Do only what is right to you. Follow your heart and mind. If you believe in a Higher Being, follow the Higher Being's direction.

Thank you YTA I'll have to see how well I do in the exams. I’m working as a nurse in the psych ward so it can be a bit draining at times.

I put up another pic that was taken at Lunar New Year and I was smiling in that pic so12 I like it more

I love that picture of your family.
Everyone looks so happy. That picture really captures the love, the warmth, the parental protectiveness, almost everything that is associated with the word “Home”.

I was exposed to the concept of power at a young age. Being where I was from, military service was mandatory at 18. I was made an officer and within a short span, I became deputy commander for a company of 170 men, all of whom were around the same age.

Honestly, I never did acquire a taste for ruling over others, and the concept never really grabbed me as overly desirable. I don't mind leading, but I much rather have a small team of very dedicated individuals.

As a banker, I have been judged mostly as a soloist and my ability to deliver results by myself. My job is more to motivate my team to deliver results. I do use the stick when I need to, but I prefer to employ the carrot.

My dad was a bank CEO himself and he too wielded power like a machette. I don't think I'm obsessed with power. I'm more obsessed with stuff. Put me on the beach doing nothing, but with all my bills paid and with stuff, and I would be most delighted. I need to control my glee over stuff.

So, to answer your question, when I was young, I made my own wealth, but I never walked around announcing that I do XYZ for a living. I was content to have the respect of others for who I am, and was happy to ride in my ABC automobile and quietly dine at DEF restaurant. No, I never want to be on the cover of some business magazine

Oh the questions weren't astrology-related and I'm not that great at astrology anyway, so I wouldn't know what to look for

I love your answers. I'll keep them in mind and probably print them out and stick them onto my work table.

Once a person is addicted to power, it won't be long till he/she starts to use that machete on family members.

You seem so down-to-earth, you're not a power-addicted tyrant and you adore your family. So I was wondering why/how you didn't get tempted by power. I figure that is one of the many reasons you can keep a happy family life.

Frankly, you seem to be the opposite of my mother. So I know that if I want to avoid becoming like her, I'll have to take some advices from someone like you.

You are Canadian. The medical bills can't possibly be that bad.

As for power hungry, like I said, my whole family likes the fine lifestyle, so we are suckers for "stuff." Thus the pressure to do well at work so as to provide the stuff.

For examplpe, I never expected my sons to be *that* musical. Now, my music lesson bills are over $1,000.

I work too much as well. People call me a "workaholic." They are mistaken. I positively *hate* work. Workaholics derive their self esteem through work. Even then, I'm in the office at 7 am. I hate it when I leave past 9 pm, but it happens more often that I like. And the boss calls me on my cell phone at home. Once after 11 pm. My wife walked to the bathroom and flushed the toilet to send a message lol

Yeah. I'm probably a bit paranoid about his health. I sometimes imagine him having this and that serious disease. The medical bills aren’t that bad but apparently they only pay for certain things. Much like Australia, there are only certain prescriptions that are covered by health care. Health care only applied for public hospitals, and the waiting list is very long. My father was schedule for a heart operation and in the end it got so bad and we just couldn’t wait. So we had to turn to a private hospital, he had private health insurance but the bills we received still made me want to drown myself in a river.

Yeah, work is one way to earn money. We need money to feed the family, to buy stuff for loved ones and to pay for medicines to keep our health in check.

You have a heavy work schedule. Do you try not to bring work home? Do you keep your family and your work separate? How does your work schedule affect your family life ?

Lol at the bit about your wife “sending a message”. She certainly sounds like a lady whom no one should mess with. Whenever I work the night shift, my husband would sigh very loudly to signify his displease. Haha.

Well, I guess the only way is to endure and wait till your retirement. After your children are all grown up, you will be free to be a beach bum . Hehe. I’m turning 23 this year and I’m already looking forward to my retirement.

YTA, I’ve constructed a chart for you in the chinese/oriental astrology. And I’ll post the interpretations and see how I go. I’ve been reading about this astrology for a few years and it is a bit complicated especially when multiple stars are involved. So if there is anything that is incorrect, please keep in mind that it is because of my lousy skills, not because the astrology is faulty lol.

The chart is in Vietnamese, so I’ll translate them the best I can.

Also, Singapore in the old days wasn’t included in the Indo-china maps. In this modern day apparently sometimes it is. So yeah the that can also affect the accuracy of the reading.

Hi. I'm glad I can join in here and that it doesn't feel too intrusive (at first I thought this was meant for Muddy only). I'm only a beginner, so I don't know if I can say anything new on this, but I saw a few things.

We actually have the same birth time (except for timezones)!

First thing I saw was Chiron conjunct the Ascendant. You've talked about directing people, which I think fits the Chiron theme as well as Capricorn. You're taking many houses towards that sign, which I can't imagine being easy to bring together. As a fellow stellium person, have you ever felt like you've missed out on something?

Uhm. Well, how do you strike a good balance between being approachable but still professional?

Another thing is handling setbacks. I'd think that may be easier for someone whose sun is in the sign as well, but I'm not sure. Fears are ruled by Saturn. Don't you ever get overwhelmed by the hard work and constant pressure? That mental strength helps a lot, but everyone has their limits. Let alone balancing out work and family. It looks like such a huge task and many people make it sound so easy. I'm sure it's not.

As an outsider it all looks so... together and worked out. If you do have your struggles, I wouldn't be able to tell. When you start talking about your family, you seem to really let go of the Cap hardness. It's good.

If my English sounds a little clunky, it's because it's not my first language. I'm only a student and especially the tone and formality are things I'm still trying to get down.

Rie: youre here <hug>

YTA:

It's cool that you guys manage to stay friends.

I’m like 99% vietnamese hahaha. I’ve tried to trace my roots but it became complicated and true to my impatient nature, I just gave up lol.

People in my birth country love this kind of astrology because the predictions are insanely accurate if done correctly. Done incorrectly and they are just insane.

Business men and women often have their favourite astrologers to predict good days for signing contracts and stuff.

I constructed your chart by hand coz the ones found on those websites are faulty sometimes. Hell I made plenty of mistakes drawing it up by hand too but at least they’re MY mistakes lol. Ah I’m so childish.

For the chart, there are twelve houses. Each house will have ruler(s). The twelve house fall into different signs and will be read according to the compatibility of the signs.

There is the “True Self” and there is the “Destiny”. The Destiny effects on your life will be most apparent from the time you were born to 30 year old (according to the lunar year). The Destiny will continue to affect you throughout your life, but after 30 years of age, the “True Self” will have greater importance.

In your chart, the houses fall into these signs:

Fire Snake rules Marriage: Your True Self falls into this house. From 30 yo till death, the stars in this house will start to affect the way you conduct your life, your personal growth, your behaviours and actions. In short, your life after 30 is affected greatly by your life partner (wife).

Fire Horse rules Siblings

Earth Goat rules Destiny

Metal Monkey rules Parents

Metal Rooster rules Goodwill

Earth Dog rules

Houses/Properties/Inheritance

Water Pig rules Career/Status

Water Rat rules Friends/Subordinates

Earth Ox rules External Factors/Luck: this
houses rules the external factors, the environment that may affect your Destiny.

Wood Tiger rules Sickness (lol I was tempted to write Tiger Woods rules your sickness. Ahaha)

Wood Cat rules Wealth

Eart Dragon rules Children

For the Ruling Stars, depends on the house they fall, will be Outstanding, Excellent, Good, Neutral, or Bad. Gah I make it sound like a high school report. This is a bit like Exalted, detriment and fall in Western astrology.

Today I’ll write the interpretation of your Destiny. Now let’s see if I’ve constructed a correct chart, or I’ve made a total mess. The moment of truth <Ding ding ding>

----------

In your Destiny, the Ruling Stars are: Vu Khuc in an Outstanding position. Tham Lang in an Outstanding position.

Vu Khuc is a Yin metal star. Metal points to the ability of earning money and it is harsh, blunt, rigid. Being the ruling star in Destiny, it gives the person a rounded face, slight built. After 30 years of age, the native may become more solid, board shoulders, board back. It may also give striking, serious but also kind eyes. The person appears serious or cold when he/she is not smiling. This star also gifts the person with leadership qualities.
This star can make you become estranged with your siblings, your parents or your wife and children. It can also mean death to children, or have many children but only a few survive.

The person is straightforward, practical and determine, especially in business. The downside is that the person can be impatient and can disregard other people’s opinion. In the worst case scenario, he/she might become a tyrant. The person is good natured and good hearted; he/she sets very high standards for him/herself and is not intimidated by difficulties and hardships.

This star is seen as the “Gold mine”. People who have this star in Destiny have a good chance to excel in areas such as banking, jeweller, business, polices... These people are hard-working, creative and very self-motivated.

YTA, the Hoa Ky star is also in your Destiny. This is a good position for that star as it helps to reduce the negativity of the bad stars. But when combined with Vu Khuc, it fuels the rigid/metal nature of Vu Khuc, and can cause troubles in your marriage if you’re not careful. It can also bring difficulties and obstructions in your career as well. Although these negative influence is greatly reduced because you have quite a few number of good stars in your Destiny.

Hoa Ky can also mean that there is a high chance of other people talking badly about you behind your backs. You can easily become entangled in other people’s dramas. It can also bring illness, especially injuries in the limbs and eyes.

Tham Lang belongs to the element wood/water. This is a Greed star. It means that the native is very attracted to material possessions and sex. Depends on other stars, the native may want material possessions more, or he/she will want sex more. This star also brings plenty of sexual partners as it increases the luck with the opposite sex. It gives talents in languages, music... In this position, it can make the body plump and soft. The native will be cunning, have plenty of talents, have high goals. He/she will like to make risky investment in business, will be over confident and competitive, will have an open mind for new ideas.

Combined with Vu Khuc, these two stars may make you more attracted to material possessions, but because it is restricted by Hoa Ky (like I’ve mentioned before). The fire nature of Hoa Ky reduces the negativity of Tham Lang and let the talent shines. Placed in Goat, it can reduce selfishness and sexual needs. It can also make you more righteous. On the other hand, it can bring delusions. Advice from the book: keep your feet on the ground and focus on what really important. Be careful in your interaction with other people, coz Greed star placed in Destiny, combined with other Greed stars in your Friend/Subordinate, can mean that you have friends/subordinates who might try to have inappropriate relations with you.

Combined with Vu Khuc in Goat, it can mean that success will often come late, but the native will have good opportunities and rise to the top quickly. Success will come from hard work, if the native slack off, he/she will lose what he/she has. In your birth chart, YTA, the two houses on either side of Destiny have two other stars: Thai Am and Thai Duong. These stars combined with Vu Khuc and Tham Lang, bring stability. Apparently in these astrology books, “the native will be wealthy till death”. If the stars in other houses are badly positioned, it might reduce the luck of this combo. But overall this is a very lucky combo.

Phong Cao: helps with career, achievements.

Thien Hinh: like Hoa Ky, reduces the negativity of bad stars.

Quan Phu: brings disruptions, discords.

Long Tri, Phuong Cac, Hoa Cai: brings beauty, success, high social status.

Tomorrow I’ll write about your Marriage house. Hehe I hope some of these interpretations are accurate.

Ah, you’ve mentioned that you cook. Butternut squash can be a devil, I’m cutting one up right now and it is so difficult.

Wow. Just wow. I must get back to you! Sorry it's the weekend and my Mrs. doesn't approve of astrology, so I can't use the home computers for LL. . She checks the cookies and histories in the home network because we have a teenager. So I will respond once I get to my office machine.

For butternut squash, the first thing I do is to stabilize the bottom. I slice across such that the bottom is absolutely flat. And the I peel with a veggie peeler. I then stand the squash vertically and with a sharp chef's knife, I use vertical force downwards to slice in half. Then I de-seed and then cut length wise before I cut horizontal wise. The trick is to have sharp knives and open eyes because the risk of slicing yourself is high.

Thank you so much, Rie. I'll give the short version and type more later.

Yes, I definitely missed out on my childhood. As a child , I was pretty much devoid of happiness. My childhood was spent unsuccessfully trying to please my parents. But I was never good enough and never measured up to standards.

[b]
Uhm. Well, how do you strike a good balance between being approachable but still professional?

I follow a simple rule. What happens at work remains at work. I switch off my work personality the moment I leave work. I never discuss work matters at home unless necessary. And I never bring work problems home. I work hard as a banker at work. I work hard as a husband and father at home.

No, it's not easy. But it's got to be done. My attitude is that it fundamentally sux, so griping and moaning won't help resolve the issues. Just deal with them. It never gets easier over time because the magnitude of the problems grow. People are mistaken if they believe the wealthy have no problems. The wealthy ones I know have horrendous problems. The richer you are, the bigger the problems.

As an outsider it all looks so... together and worked out. If you do have your struggles, I wouldn't be able to tell. When you start talking about your family, you seem to really let go of the Cap hardness. It's good.

Yes. I have lots and lots if struggles. Just that I can't afford to let them get me down. The moment you lay down in mental defeat, it's over.

If my English sounds a little clunky, it's because it's not my first language. I'm only a student and especially the tone and formality are things I'm still trying to get down.

Your English is way way better than my ability to speak the many Continental European languages you know.

Thanks so much!!!

Thanks for the tips YTA, I still have one more butternut squash, so I’ll definitely follow your tips next time. His Majesty bought two. Today I nearly cut myself while battling with that veggie.

According to your wow I think that I did an alright job of drawing the chart hehe. The other day I got the stars’ positions all mixed up. When I read it again I was like “Geez these stars make a quite horrible destiny”. Lol. Lucky I found out my mistakes (-__-!)

----------------

Like I’ve mentioned above, now that you’re past 30 years of age, the importance of the True Self is very apparent. The Destiny house, the True Self, and the Goodwill house will be read together.

First I’ve given the interpretation for the Destiny. Now I’ll give the interpretation for the True Self. Next I’ll give the interpretation for the Goodwill house. And then I’ll write a bit about how these houses influence each other.

The Goodwill house is the most important of 12 houses, so I’ll leave it till later. First I want to give the general interpretation of the Destiny house, and your True Self.

--

The True Self is not a house, it simply falls into one of the 12 houses. Where it falls is where your Destiny will be tied to, from the time you’re 30 till death.

YTA, your True Self is placed in the Marriage house. There is a saying “Behind every successful man, there is a woman”. Therefore, men with True Self in the Marriage house often can often rely on their wives, either financially or emotionally. Men whose Destiny is weaker than Marriage often rely on their wives financially. But in your chart, YTA, your Destiny is considerably stronger than your Marriage (Note: this comparison here is between Destiny and Marriage stars only, without influences from other house). This may mean that you two will work together for a better, more stable life.

It can also mean that you two either work in the same business, or share joint investments.... In real life these people might like to get into each other's personal spaces. They may feel the intense need to be around each other all the time. They may check up on each other, keep an eye on each other's business. Actually looking at your True Self (and knowing that your wife checks the cookies/histories), I'm thinking that she maye also check your letter/emails/friends..etc... She may know nearly everything about you. Your marriage is probably quite transparent. True Self in Marriage house relationship is binding, and the two people will try to be "tied" to each other, to "bond" as much as they can.

Or in the bad cases, life circumstances will throw them together and they won't be able to get away easily.

Secrets will often be quite difficult to remain secrets, especially with this placement.

Although it may sound “too much” or “obsessive” to some, I’ll say that your True Self in Marriage house, is quite a favourable position. When combined with heavy influences from some very strong stars (some of these are in other houses), its strength becomes on par with your Destiny and it becomes strong enough to control the Greed stars in your other houses. It gives stability. It’s like a strong willed wife and her husband guarding their marriage from other influences.

In a man’s chart with True Self in Marriage, if combined with other badly placed stars can mean that he’s “whipped”. The person may have an unhealthy obsession with women, may have the feeling that he can’t live without a woman. In a better scenario, it only means that the person is the extremely romantic kind, always wants to be in love.

People with True Self in Marriage house often meet their life partners in very unusual/special ways. Depends on the rest of the chart, there will often be instant attraction, as if they had met in previous lives and they continue to build their love in this life. Their relationships are often karmic, and therefore very binding, for better or worse. They are tied together, either by deep love, or deep hatred. In addition, their life partners can often work in the same fields. Even if they work in different fields, they will always manage to give support to each other.
People with True Self in Marriage may have other interests, or other jobs apart from their main jobs. If they do, often these “hobbies” or jobs can eventually become an important part of their lives, or they might become more successful in those jobs than their main jobs.

Ruling Star of your Marriage house: Thien Phu (the Vault) in an Outstanding position. It brings the ability to earn money and keep it.

Affliction: Tuan and Tuyet are in your Marriage house. These two afflictions that can mean delays or when combined with other bad stars, mean a dead end.
With Tuyet affliction, it reduces the positive influence of the good stars in this house.

With Tuan affliction in your Marriage house, it can mean the person get married late (Note: “late” in ancient Asian cultures usually means >25-26), a delayed marriage, or the marriage meets with a lot of aggression from other people. Family disapproval.

With Thien Phu afflicted by Tuan. You and your life partner can both be stubborn, impatient, like to spend money. But Thien Phu is placed in Snake, affected by Vu Khuc from your Destiny, it helps to smooth the conflicts. This can also mean a lasting marriage.

Combined with Thien Ma (the horse), it means that you will get married on foreign land (not your birth country), possibly to a foreigner.

Combined with Co Than (loneliness), it can bring disruptions, arguments. Both parties should try to be less stubborn to avoid a separation.

Tang Mon is also in your Marriage house: this star rules death.

Tang Mon in your chart is combined with Van Xuong (star rules intellectual abilities), it can mean that either you or your life partner is very persuasive, influential person. It brings gift in public speaking and helps with career and relationships with other people.

Combined with affliction Tuyet, this can means either a reduction in longevity of you or your life partner, or it can mean either death of children or death of life partners.

To YTA and Rie

I wanna let you know that I’ll be away for a week or two so you two won’t think that I disappear into thin air or something lol.

I’ll get back to this thread with more detailed interpretations. First we will look at the 12 houses. Then we will look at how they pair up, how they form groups and how they affect each other.

Yah, a couple of friends and His Majesty and I will rent a cabin in the woods for a little getaway. DA WOODS – my natural habitat. Lol at me.

I’ll talk to you guys soon.

12Muddy,

Have lots of fun with your getaway.

I can't express how incredibly accurate your reading is. Besides the Chinese BaZi, the only readings that have approached this level of accuracy is Indian Vedic.

I can't help but feel that Western Astrology isn't so applicable to the Eastern experience. I'll definitely provide step by step feedback to everything you have written. Now I'm engrossed with everything you have said!!

I'm bumping this up so I can reply to it as soon as I can. Didn't forget about this thread.

Wow I can't believe it took me this long to reply.

Ouch. Parents and their standards is like the worst thing for a Cap. I'm so sorry you didn't have a chance to be a child. That's not a way for a child to grow up. I've grown up with a dad who didn't accept any flaws either, so I can sort of relate.

So basically you have two full-time jobs? That's a lot of work. Respect. Yeah, I know you're supposed to keep work and private separated, it's just a bit tricky now and then.

Oh, I wouldn't think a little money will take away all of your problems. It can solve a little but it brings out the worst in some people. The moaning doesn't help and all, but I think you could just vent for a bit now and then if you'd feel like it. If it helps to pick yourself back up. No-one needs to know, haha.

I know. Meltdowns. Panic attacks. I try to see it coming so I can protect myself against it, but it doesn't always work. It's horrible, it just happens. Sometimes only thinking of what will happen if you do give in is enough to keep going, right? It's good you keep trying and I think you have a lot of that mental hardness - more than most people I know and they've had their share of struggles too.

Aww, thank you. I don't speak that many languages, just Dutch and English at the moment. Wouldn't have been able to tell you weren't born in the USA.

And Muddy, wow, I know it's not even for me but it's so interesting to read! YoursTruly is very lucky. Now I'm curious to read up on Chinese astrology again.

Oh and it's really late, but I'm sorry about your daughters... I felt awful reading that. Wish they could've had a chance to live (though I don't know all that much of the story)

Thank you, Rei

I myself have high standards, but I think its how the standards are enacted. if they are jammed down the throats of the children, it seldom works. I believe persuasion and positive reinforcement works better.

So basically you have two full-time jobs? That's a lot of work. Respect. Yeah, I know you're supposed to keep work and private separated, it's just a bit tricky now and then.

You get used to it after a while. Work is only a means to a paycheck, and nothing more than that. Family comes first.

Oh, I wouldn't think a little money will take away all of your problems. It can solve a little but it brings out the worst in some people. Money does solve a lot of problems. It, however, does not resolve fundamental issues in a marriage, or anything else like that.

I know.

It's never about how many times you fall down. Just like ice skating or riding a bike, it's all about how many times you get up after falling down.

Aww, thank you. I don't speak that many languages, just Dutch and English at the moment. Wouldn't have been able to tell you weren't born in the USA.

Well, not only was I born in Singapore, where English is the main language, but I was also educated in England prior to coming to the US for higher education.

And Muddy, wow, I know it's not even for me but it's so interesting to read! YoursTruly is very lucky. Now I'm curious to read up on Chinese astrology again.

Yes, I feel so guilty. I need to respond to 12Muddy's wonderful analysis.

Oh and it's really late, but I'm sorry about your daughters... I felt awful reading that. Wish they could've had a chance to live (though I don't know all that much of the story)

Thank you.

12muddy,

I cannot explain how accurate your reading was.

I met my wife at my 30th birthday party and got married shortly thereafter. This is eerily accurate. My life is defined by my wife, and I've been trying to explain it to LL but a lot of women think I'm just idolizing my wife irrationally. My Destiny period indeed shaped my outlook in life, but my True Self was found upon meeting my wife.

I have a rounded face. I'm not of a slight build relative to Asians, but perhaps around European-centric America where the norm is a six foot man. I am built solid and have a barrel-like chest. I do have a serious persona and do appear cold when I'm not smiling. I am however warm and kind most of the time away from work. I have one brother who is 12 years younger. He and I have a cordial relationship but disagree on most things and do not see eye to eye. I had a somewhat strained relationship with my parents, having left home very early. As you know, I have four children, and two children alive.

This describes me extremely well. I'm not a tyrannt lol Although I can be perceived as one given my high expectations of my children.

Yes, career building was not a smooth process. I lost my job six times due to downsizing. As far as marriage, it is a union of two strongly opinionated people. The trick is knowing when to give in, and just outright apologize even if I'm so sure that I'm not in the wrong. Smoothing things over is the key to happiness. Otherwise, rigidity brings a lot of friction.

Hoa Ky can also mean that there is a high chance of other people talking badly about you behind your backs. You can easily become entangled in other people’s dramas. It can also bring illness, especially injuries in the limbs and eyes.

I do encounter a lot of people who don't like me for whatever reason. People talk badly about me on occassion. I am short sighted. As far as injuries to limbs, I had a knee injury episode with my left leg, but it has healed. I'm sure it'll come back to haunt me when I'm old. I think I'll get cataracts when I'm older.

Yes, this describes me well. I am attracted to possessions and I do like sex. As far as sexual partners, I had a lot of them in my Destiny years. I have my luck with women. I don't have talents with languages or music, although I like traveling and I like music My body is plump and soft. I am cunning and have high goals. I am overly confident and competitive. I am open minded. I don't think I have a great appetite for risky investments. In fact, I make a living saying "No" and abating risk.

Yes I try to be principled and as righteous as I can. Feet on the ground and a strong focus is already my hallmark, so no problem there. That sounds like a lot of Greed stars, so its not so good. Yes, I have a lot of episodes with both friends and subordinates attempting inappropriate relations. That's strange for a man. Usually it happens with women. But its a problem for me.

Stability is what I treasure. Success depends on how one defines it. Some people are easily content. I'm not. So at some point, I have to step back and just be happy with what I have.

It is so true. I rely on my wife for my emotional identity. The stability in my wife comes from a well-run household and well adjusted, accomplishing and happy children.

My life is an open book. She knows everything that goes on in my life, and I know everything that goes on in her life. She has the final say on all decisions in the house. I have the final say on all decisions related to money-making and large ticket expenditures (homes, autombiles, etc.) Otherwise, she runs the household budget. She knows about my propensities with women and how I seem to only have lots and lots of women friends and don't get along well with men. There are no secrets.

She knows about all the external influences. Being the possessive type, she seems jealous to others, but she's only protecting her turf.

No, I'm not "whipped." I give in out of love. I don't give in to anybody else in life, not even my boss at work. I'm a fierce competitor and I'm extremely aggressive. This is the part that women don't get. They think I'm weak. Little do they know. If I were to be headstrong, I would never be able to have my marriage survive because my wife is equally headstrong. She would crush most men.

We met each other once. Didn't meet again until two months later. Dated for about 3 weeks and then decided to get married. Got married within three months after we met up (the second time). That was fast.

People with True Self in Marriage may have other interests, or other jobs apart from their main jobs. If they do, often these “hobbies” or jobs can eventually become an important part of their lives, or they might become more successful in those jobs than their main jobs.

We share the same religion, same moral values, same political views, exact same hobbies, same likes and same dislikes. It's quite strange because we are from opposite sides of this Earth, but we're so much like each other.

Ruling Star of your Marriage house: Thien Phu (the Vault) in an Outstanding position. It brings the ability to earn money and keep it.

Haha.. I don't know about the "keeping it" part lol It flies out of the door.

Definitely family disapproval. I got married at 30 years old. She got married at 25 years old. That's delayed marriage by Asian standards.

With Thien Phu afflicted by Tuan. You and your life partner can both be stubborn, impatient, like to spend money. But Thien Phu is placed in Snake, affected by Vu Khuc from your Destiny, it helps to smooth the conflicts. This can also mean a lasting marriage.

So true.

Combined with Thien Ma (the horse), it means that you will get married on foreign land (not your birth country), possibly to a foreigner.

And true again. We both married foreigners. I got married in a foreign land.

Combined with Co Than (loneliness), it can bring disruptions, arguments. Both parties should try to be less stubborn to avoid a separation.

Again very true. I tend to let myself lose arguments for the sake of harmony.

I rely on my persuasive public speaking abilities for my career. I also rely on my professional reputation.

Death is a constant source of my stress. I've had enough death in my life. My wif'es family has a history of cancer, and so that's always on my mind.
