Hi :-)

Can someone give some feedback on my T-square?

I'm very new to astrology and just learned I have a T-square between the moon, saturn and uranus(all in fixed signs and yes, I can have a pit-bull mentality). I'm trying to figure out what area I should activate to overcome the negatives of the T-square, but I'm not even sure if 'the empty leg' would fall into the 9th house capricorn or even the tenth house?

And how else would I have to look at this T-square? Any tips or links to information will be very much appreciated. Thanks :-)

The empty leg usualy would fall on the point opposite the apex, so in this case, it would be the point opposite Saturn in Leo. So the empty leg would be in Aquarius in the 10th.

There is difficulty dealing with the effect of sudden external changes and it may impact you emotionally. You like to be in control of yourself always and the tense energies from the moon/uranus to saturn in the 4th would have a bearing on the structure you are trying to maintain deep within yourself, and possibly in your home. Focusing on a career that would channel those energies into something useful would help in balancing out the t-square.

Hope this helped!

I think the most interesting point in the chart is the venus, mercury, and mars all conjunct in Virgo in the 5th house! What has been your experiences with this Twirl? Are you in a creative profession? Do you do any writing?

Just something to note, to make this into a Grand Cross, you can look to your MC (it's almost conjunct the point) - i.e. your career, it may pull you into 4 directions, but it could also stabilize you.

---

From: The Sabian Symbols, Dane Rudhyar

PHASE 304 (AQUARIUS 4°): A HINDU YOGI DEMONSTRATES HIS HEALING POWERS.

KEYNOTE: The disciplined use of spiritual energies in restoring the natural harmony disturbed by man's inharmonic attempts to transcend nature through mind.

Civilization implies a process of transcending compulsive and rigid biological drives while making use, in a refined and mentalized way, of what it cannot control. The goal of a true civilization — Western civilization being to a large extent a caricature of it — is the development of a humanity composed of self-motivated and responsible individuals freely associating according to harmonic patterns in order to produce a vast spiritual chord of consciousness fully actualizing the potentialities inherent in the archetype, MAN. The process of individualization and civilization is full of dangers, and for a very long time it is obsessed by karmic shadows, the results of individual and collective deviations and perversions. Such results most often lead to disease. It is the spiritual duty of individuals who have been able to tap the vast reservoir of spiritual forces pervading our planet to use these energies for healing their less-fortunate comrades.

This fourth stage symbol refers to a technique which not only can be used for the healing of physical illnesses but for the "making whole" of whatever has lost its natural root integration and has not yet reached the holistic state of perfect harmony and identification with the "divine" whole. Self-discipline, purity of motive, compassion, faith in the divine order are required — and the FOCUSING OF SPIRITUAL ENERGY.

GOOD LUCK!

^ Here is some more information - hope its not to overwhelming...

1 - T-Squares http://www.drstandley.com/astrologycharts_tsquare.shtml

2 - TENTH HOUSE - IS NATURALLY RULED BY THE SIGN OF CAPRICORN (also from Dr. Standley)

THE CAPRICORN MOTTO IS - "I USE, THEREFORE I AM"

This house rules the knees, bones, skin and teeth. The Tenth House is about your public life. This house also rules fame, notoriety, occupation, career, ambition, government, military, mother, chief executives, business life, goals, ranks, political position, status, standing in the public eye, position in society. It shows your standing in the community and social status. It can reflect your attitude to parenting. Other keywords include honor, authority and profession, Life direction, achievement, mastery and hierarchy.

3 - So then I would look at Capricorn is ruled by Saturn and your Saturn is in your 4th House in Leo.

So...Ruler of the 10th house in 4th House

From: http://www.skyviewzone.com/astrology/houserulerships.htm#hr10

An authority figure or perhaps your father was your primary nurturing influence during your upbringing. Another possible scenario is that your father may live with you later in life. You may have a strong sense of responsibility towards your family, your mother in particular.
Your career can take place from your home. If you'd like to work from your own home, then this astrological influence supports that choice.

ooh, I have a 4 and a 5 too! HUG!

4 - Saturn is detriment here in the 4th House. I have Saturn detriment too, its not that bad if you learn how to use it. Google "Saturn in detriment."

5 - Sabian reading for your Saturn - again from Dane's Sabian Symbols

PHASE 129 (LEO 9°): GLASS BLOWERS SHAPE BEAUTIFUL VASES WITH THEIR CONTROLLED BREATHING.

KEYNOTE: The need to involve one's most spiritual and vital energies in the creative act' if it is to produce significant and beautiful new forms.

The breath represents the power of the spirit, animator of all living manifestations. Because the glass blower uses his breath to shape the glass vessels, he is a fitting symbol of how deeply any creative individual has to involve his total being in his creation. He is also using the fire of the spirit — transpersonal inspiration — or, in another sense, the fire of deeply felt emotions. Any creative activity which does not involve both the "breath" and the "fire" cannot transform into beautiful artworks — or indeed into any new form of order — the raw materials, remains of the past (the "sand").

This fourth stage of the twenty-sixth sequence symbolically shows us the technique required in true and successful transforming activity. It always implies CREATIVE INTENSITY.

Hi Imeanj,

Not overwhelming at all! Love all the info. The more the merrier, lol.
Very helpful also! Cool to know you have similar placements. I googled saturn in detriment & it does make so much sense. I really can't stand a strict structure & discipline (such a kill-joy!), but I am trying to work more with it of late (books on time management & organising, lol), but find it so hard! A too structured approach makes me very stressed and tense, because it feels like the 'flow' is being stopped. Do you recognise that too? Or how does this placement work for you?
I actually do work mostly from the home & alone, but I read that the planets in my 6th house placement also pointed in that direction.
Thanks again

The detriment works differently because it is in a different house and I feel the a/effects of the house more. I feel like in astrology - it's really impossible to break down into specific parts, you really have to incorporate a w/holistic view and there are so many factors that come into play. However, I will say that meditation/spirituality helped out a lot and I feel some of that here with the sabian's emphasis on breath you might consider practices with breath like pranayama and the like.

You might also want to look at your North Node, I find that to be useful in regards to direction/career. Likewise, the configuration of your chart - I believe that you have a bundle here. And you are 2nd quadrant heavy. Though not directly t-square related, these are things to consider when looking at the chart as a whole.

GOOD LUCK! Happy learning.

Thanks again for your information! If I can do anything in return just let me know (obviously I can't add any astrology knowledge, I'm too new, but cards or dreams perhaps? Been doing that many years)

I meditate and practice yoga almost on a daily basis. I find it of great help. Thanks, I'll look at the breathing more closely

For the direction I did consider the north node and decided I will book a reading for it. I found an astrologer in my home country that focusses on the nodes & Cheiron which (feels for me) as one of the 'keys'.

Thanks so much for your time and insight & enjoy your day
