This is the one I wanted to ask:

I'll edit it out later. Can I ask in regards to love readings... I'm having difficulties bringing across messages that are less nice (and will play out soon anyway/fortune telling). Depending on who & why I'm thinking I then just shouldn't do them (see my other new deck thread). Career, law, finance are all fine or anything that gives insight (like letting go/getting back together etc.) What would you say: either deliver the message, don't do them or something in between?

Well, put yourself in the querent's shoes. You go to a Tarot/Psychic and you want the absolute truth, right? So I feel that you should deliver the message, even if they aren't so nice because that's why most people go to readers - they want to be aware of things or warned about stuff before it happens. This is where your confidence as a reader comes to play. You need to warn them ahead that you're new or practice/entertainment purposes only as to not give them 'false hope' [You did this on your thread anyway, so that's good, but also trust the readings - don't try to sugar coat]. Then, trust the message(s) that comes through and deliver them gently.

Personally, yes I do deliver them, the only thing I'm scared of is health readings. I try doing them for my family, but if scary cards come out I shut down . I just can't do them for some reason...and things end up happening that aren't so nice, but I just can't. So I try to avoid anything health related..

Thanks. Yes, I do agree with what you wrote there. Thank you for writing that down. I do know this, but I'm not sure if I can deliver them always. So I must work on that. About a year ago I just read for 'fun' for a friend and her new love interest (it just started and she was in the middle of the excitement), but in the near future I saw it wasn't really what she wished for. I also sugar coated that, because I didn't want to ruin her excitement. of course it ended with the guy because she was annoyed with him in the end. So it's also that I don't always want to interfere in the natural process. But paid readings, yes. When it comes to psychology and behaviours of querants I also have no problem being direct. I need to lose the sugar though. I'll work on that. But then there's also still the chance of being wrong...

For health, yes, understand you don't want to read them. It's also a big responsibility and avoiding then if it doesn't feel right personally, is only good.

Then again, who knows what happens when you have that 'fire' (and moved to Russia),

Lol, also needed to share this. I love looking in my RW for location I actually found an item for a friend and yesterday I lost something again. I drew 2 of swords so I felt it was 'somewhere in the dark', like inside a bag. Drew extra card: moon RX. I asked what should I know about the way I read Tarot?

High Priestess

I'm surprised I got these cards because I received a reading from someone (it was free) who blew my mind away. She was SPOT ON with every single thing from just 1 card . I was shocked because she doesn't read Tarot as fortune-telling/predictive. It's more practical than that (or so she says). I was so shocked, lol - everything she said was spot on. I invited her to join this forum, but I'm not sure if she will. She is so good! Makes me want to be more practical instead of predicting things, haha. Once I read her interpretation of 1 card, and all she gathered from just that 1 card (and how right she was with everything) I was floored :P.

I guess these cards are saying that my approach to Tarot is more Intuitive than "practical". Fool to me here indicates that I just go with the flow, and I'm not scared to take that "leap of faith" when I read for others (I don't mind being wrong, so I trust my Intuition/empathic impressions a lot - Queen of Cups + High Priestess) also, Fool can suggest that I read in a very unusual manner, haha..true.

What do you think?

Why were you surprised receiving these cards?
I agree with your interpretation. Queen of Cups (altough depicted here in the 'counselling role') is very much a seer. In the traditional deck she gets visions from her cup by being tuned in to 'all' through emotions/empathy indeed. Water is what the planet mostly exists from and our bodies. So reaching in those depths connects you. I think the Fool is shown here to show you how you trust your visions and impressions which leads to The High Priestess; revealing secrets of the future in this case.
Also the fool is very much a 'in the moment'-type. So you deliver what you see in that snapshot of time and what needs to be revealed/is unknown to the asker.

What do you mean with practical? Putting the querent back into their own strength and tell them what they can do with the situation/how to deal with it?

I think all of these different reading styles are valuable. But one just suits the reader more then the other and attracts different clients
I personally don't connect well with people who say: tell me what you see and will happen and are not open to connecting with how they can influence the situation themselves.
PS: but for that reason I am now trying to take the fortune telling part in more, lol.

Do you know anything about Twin Flames? I did a Lenormand reading that says I have one, and that I know who it is but I have no clue! Many articles state you're supposed to "know" who they are in an instant :/...I wonder..

Lol, also think the Fool is good here. He does have the number '0' after all, which allows him to travel beyond space & time (also seen in the eternal 8 above his head). Either travelling to the beginning or the end

Yes, I have read about the Twin Flame material. And even though I'm intrigued by it, I can't really do that much with it myself, because I'm in the here and now and I don't feel like waiting for Mister Twin to find me yes or no, lol. My personal approach towards this of course. I do however believe in twin flames, and soul groups, karma, etc.
There are also quite some meditations around to connect with your Twin Flame. Perhaps you can try one of those?

EDIT (as expected): I have met 3 man in my life with whom I experienced a 'fated' feel/instant drawn on both sides. Were they soul groups/was 1 a Twin flame? No clue, but whichever way, it just didn't work out.

Judgement RX - High Priestess - Knight of Swords.

Of course I blanked, so I'll let it sink in. Since I'm waiting for an editor here (will take this out later), I cannot surpress the feeling the person editing liking me (or my work) very much, lol. Possibly not liking the copy due to some jealousy/possibly some conflict about within the company (the one with more women). Not sure though. I'll let the cards sink in & update later.

Might be best to think about a follow-up product (it's in regards to teaching/writing). Or will I be 'compromised'? Looks like an abrupt ending.
