How would you read the Hermit reversed as a relationship? I did a spread about relationship dynamics after I got contacted by someone after months. I don't answer the phone anymore (long story) and decided to let it go. This card came up for how he sees it. Or did I just answer my own question? "Completely out of reach?"
Lol, just typing this seems to help, but I feel I'm missing something from the message. His behaviour showed the 4 of cups.

EDIT: secondly on career. I got a job offered which is different from what I had been doing. Twice the Chariot showed for if it was wise to take it. Which I think is a 'yes' (or how I would normally take it). Also the emperor showed for as how well it would suit me. What I'm looking for is financial gain though and there the tower showed. Huh?! Don't get it.

I do not deal with reversals--BUT, I think revered there may be too much of this energy--like inertia. Things not progressing, moving forward--looking for insight but going in circles. I definately feel the "out of reach" feeling is there. The 4 of cups reiterates the emotional confusion and emotional isolation as well. Very internal cards! This person needs to sort out what is going on in their hearts.

As far as The Empereror and Chariot--YES! Go get that job girl! Chariot--is a go ahead and assert your power and control card! The Emperor--is this superviser position or will you be the head a department or looking over others? Sounds like you will be the one in the know! This sounds great for self-esteem!

As far as far as The Tower---I see The Tower as something unavoidable--so this may be saying a BIG change in financial issues! I would say this is not "disaster" (I hate some interpretations of The Tower--so doom and gloom!") I would say this job will help you gain insight into a better financial situation and clear away old habits that maybe were not helpful. Maybe this job isn't so much about money, but about your personal development.

I think it's more he's trying to reach out to you. Has he been withdrawn from you for a while, and just called you back after a long time? Behavior..4 of Cups..contemplating, thinking about you & possibly bored. I have learned that any cup cards are spiritual more so than anything else. Even the ones that seem bad like 4 of Cups, 7 of Cups, 8 of Cups..there's something deeper about them than meets the eye (at least for me).

@Lotus, many meanings rang truth for me. For the job, yes I will be controlling a part of the process and if it's going well, they will give me greater responsibility. Also I can do it on my terms mostly'. I love the take on the Tower here. I personally feel The Chariot is telling me to 'take control' and do it.' It normally comes up that way. The plan is to do this job 3 days so I can spend the other days in 'shaping' what I truly want work wise in attainable goals. And also so I can have the budget to build upon those goals. That's why the Tower stumped me, because I read the other to as 'a go'.

@Empress: I also feel your interpretation of the cards combination. In a sense that this isn't what I envisioned, but I think it will help me to get closer to the goals. As the 'all over the place'-bit (or so I feel it, lol), that's kinda true, because I feel I need to make desicions now & get a solid base to (re)build from. The market I'm in just isn't good at the moment. I always went with working from te heart, but now 'the lack of stability' is just stopping me from progressing. I now decided to throw out as many 'life lines' and take it how it comes. The strict, I'll do A, then B, etc. doesn't seem to be working in this point in time.

NEW CARDS: This is an odd one, because I asked in regards to a current international political situation. I never really use the cards this way, but thought it might give an interesting twist.

Just go for it, don't worry about the reading . I would interpret those cards that way if they were near each other, but you said they really weren't -- so no worries!! Go for it!
