His Jupiter conjunct your Sun looks very good though :]. It might be one of the main aspects that is making you feel this way (I may be wrong, don't take my word for it).

Venus in Pisces needs to always feel in love and keep that romance and mysticism alive, especially squaring neptune, it's very dreamy. Venus in gemini is very flirtatious and is attracted to stimulating conversation and someone who can mentally spar with them, witty comebacks and the like. The issue here is you're likely to hurt him without realizing it because your methods of love are different. The hard aspects to Neptune help you to ignore this problem rather than acknowledging it and loving them anyway, which leads to the disillusionment starmoon mentioned. For a venus in pisces that is the most heartbreaking thing of all. Once the feeling of falling in love is gone, so are they.

His mercury mars conjunction with mars square your pluto probably makes him feel like talking/arguing with you is a constant power play. Who's right or wrong... Your moon is unascpected and so is his sun which indicates a lack of feeling emotionally supported, may lead to feeling of loneliness like he really doesn't understand you and your moon is your chart ruler! Which is sorta double bad bc it's like he can't see what drives your point of view and how you think, or that he understands it but can't connect to it and can't give you the support you need. Since his sun is in his 3rd house it's important that you hit this spot for communication.

Mars square Uranus is a personally terrible experience for me. Kinda great at the beginning because of all this energy that's exciting sexually but I see this as an 'abuse aspect'. When someone has this nataly it points to a very bad temper where the individual may get so angry they black out and don't remember what they did, or where they search for fights/arguments. It needs a constant 'violent' outlet, like mma fighting or being a cut throat lawyer. In synastry it points to an explosive amount of energy that can lead to arguements where people throw things at each other if there isn't some positive release for it. His Saturn on your mars may limit your 'action' and this energy will have difficulty being expressed.

I know I'm pointing out a lot of 'bad' things, but I do see where the attraction is. For one your cancer asc and his scorpio asc is compatible in that it allows you to connect with a similar outlook on life. His Sun in the 3rd gives it a "gemini" feel which is echoed a bit by your moon and venus in gem. So there is some understanding, but not quite a full one. Your venus in the 12h is echoed by his venus in pisces. Sun conjunct Jupiter is really positive, makes you both feel excited and energetic around each other.

There is a lot of good stuff here, but I get a very friendshippy feel...I could be wrong but it feels like things would need to be kept light and airy because if you go really deep, as relationships often do, there feels to be a lack of true understanding that will keep it long lasting. Like after a while you will wonder why you're together since you can't seem to understand each other in a way that will allow you two to work well together. I don't like giving verdicts like this, there are a lot of positive things in your charts but to me it doesn't feel like a full 'click' you know?
