I am confused how that would relate to feelings?

But out of curiosity I asked what would happen to change his mind?

Yes, pages are messengers. You`ve got two, so i guess news will be delivered, and probably swiftly and coming as a surprise; (they are the quickest suits after all).

Ace of cups is of course a great card to have, indicationg an emotional new beginning and even falling in love.

Not sure about the Hermit though, as this is such a withdrawn card. Like he is in a cave and oes not get out there, but takes time to think about things.

But if the cards indicate the course of action, the days of introspection might actually lead into the emotional newbeginning, and the messengers might help making it happen.
