I'm a student and I've had some career issues as well, so I can empathize. Thought I'd throw down some cards if you don't mind! :-)

What you want to do: 8 of Pentacles--this shows you want to work hard! In fact you may do your best in places where you are called upon for responsibility. You have an attention to detail and expertise that you can definitely share in work.

What you can do: 6 of cups--You have a lot of compassion for people. Do you work with kids or in education or a service field? At any rate, you are good at connecting with people on a one to one basis and feeling connected to people in this way. You like to feel needed and accepted in work.

What you have to do to succeed: 4 of cups- This shows that you have to really focus on what you want to do! Are bored or have something in your heart that you REALLY would love to do but feel is not possible? You may want the dream and reject the dream at the same time. However, the opportunity to succeed is there once you acknowledge exactly what you want and believe you are worth it!

What else you need to know: 6 of swords--you will definitely be moving forward! If you make changes and decide where you are headed--the people in the boat know where they are going right? It's good to have a plan before you take off! So, this shows that whatever rough waters you've been treading will smooth over and you'll be able to start over again--but remember to focus on what specifically you want and not just dream about it!
