I am feeling terribly down and anxious. I am taking a trip, meeting a man during this trip, also visiting a friend. I leave next Monday and I'd like to know what to expect, in regards to the trip in general and also about this guy (a Scorp). The cards so far have not been so optimistic and truth is I have received some bad news, even wanted to cancel but couldn't get a refund on the tickets. Meanwhile I am swamped with work, 16-18 hours/day and I don't even have time or energy to plan this, do my hair and clothes and such. I have no idea when and what I will pack. I am sort of counting on Aries spontaneity on this because I have to finish this project for work fast. Ugh.

Well, it looks swift and quick! I guess you will really pack in a hurry, but however, I view them as very positive, the trip might "fire you up".

Then I pulled two cards for you relating to each other, and this is where it gets a tiny bit confusing:

2 of cups
9 of wands

The 2 of cups seems to indicate genuine feelings or an emotional connection (personally for me this is a "soulmate-card", though I know that other tarot readers rather associate it with friendship; but to me it is about the sharing of deep feelings).

What about the 9 of wands though?
Is either of you hesitant?
In waiting mode? Waiting until the other shows the affections before doing him- or herself?
Or is there a certain feeling of being overburdened? Worn out (well you said so).

However I also read this description

I usually see him as the King of Cups. He was so in the beginning, I guess he may have transformed into the K of Wands in the meantime. As for me, yeah, I am either the Q of Wands or of Sw. Swords feel like me lately. Hanged Man too. I know it needs sacrifices, surrender and time.. I will let you know how it goes! Thank you!

Thank you so much!! Yes, it seems like I will have to leave in a hurry because it looks like I will work crazy hours until the last minute of my time here. I have no idea when I will get everything done. In a way, it's better like this because I'm sure I would've freaked out about flying and such.

The 2 of Cups and 9 of Wands make perfect sense to me.. I think it will remain friendship, though I think we both wanted more at some point. We're very similar, I know I said I found my male version before, but this one is actually closest to that than the ones before. Sun conj Moon in composite. The 9 of Wands stands for both of us being very guarded. Him because his ex hurt him badly, me because he's still in love with her and recently pursued someone else. The Queen of Swords Elixir pulled speaks well of my latest attitude towards him. It kind of is in vain. But I guess the Universe wouldn't have arranged it like this if there wasn't a point to it. Worst case scenario, I rent a car and go on a road trip to Vegas or LA and forget all about him. Maybe that 6 of Swords was a hint to this. Well, I'll know in less than a week.

Interesting both of you hinted about sex and I don't even have time to get a wax lol. It's not exactly in my plans for this trip but I guess I should do smth about that, just in case.

Thank you! I wouldn't mind another opinion lol, not because I don't trust Elixir or Ceri's insights but I came to think that different readings show different angles of the same situation, though I suppose that can also lead to confusion.
