I just got back to the States in February after spending a little over a year on other side of the planet. I was abroad for work and to take a personal hiatus from life in the States after my father's death as well as the end of a serious relationship in '11. Where I was living while abroad, I didn't have regular access to internet/phone, so I was in only occasional touch with friends. I also got rather used to a de-cluttered life.

I used to be really social before parent's death, but after last year's trip, I just don't feel like being around a lot of people socially. I'm also starting a clothing business and have been intensely busy with that. However, people close to me who haven't seen me for a year are starting to freak out. Several friends have asked if I might be depressed and a few are starting to figure out some sort of intervention. It's making me wonder if there's a such thing as healthy reclusiveness. Or if I'm depressed. Although, I think I'm too busy to be depressed.

The world is just so much noise these days - we have to figure out ways to cut it out so we can hear ourselves thinking. It should be ok to just want to hang out with oneself for long periods of time, right?

What do you guys think? Could it be a phase, maybe? Are there any crazy moons or retrogades going on right now?

I'm so sorry to hear of what you've been through. First of all, I'd look at your progressions, as it helps us understand where we're going - how things are changing.
