For one, we're Librans. More so than other women - save for Taurus girls - it defines us. Our Venus is not just representative of how we are in love, it's a crucial feature of how we ARE. And, depending upon degree, we're helpful, finicky, perfectionistic, realistic, and secretly a bit more into the whole 'love thing' than we ever let on. (Hey, we're Librans.) Trouble is, we're also critical. (See: 'helpful'.) We figure it's not worth doing if it's not the best quality of which we're capable; if someone does a half-ass job of anything - we're going to let them know. Kindly, of course. Graciously.

We like the feeling of getting our hands in something, so gardening seems logical, but all that grit under the nails isn't on our list of favourite things. I like clay for that: the big junk o' thick sculptor-grade kind. It's great for just kneading and releasing tension. And, hey, if you end up with art - so much the better.

We enjoy cooking, too. But, like anything, we like our recipes precise, and our meals to be to our total satisfaction. But for some, it's the tinkering that's the fun. The process. Virgo Venus doesn't mind the process and can slog through the more menial tasks connected to the overall picture better than most signs. With a good attitude, too.

So, what's wrong with it?

We're not hearts-and-flowers romantic. We don't like going out. We prefer a good book and some hot tea and relaxing music. If a partner joins us - it's a welcome addition! But, you may have surmised, Virgo Venus is not daunted by the solitary. In fact, we need our solitude: to recharge, rejuvenate, and contemplate. We're actually quite the thinkers and tinkerers. Excellent planners, too. (Libra Sun + Virgo Venus make bang-up wedding planners, you can imagine. Fantastic executive assistants as well. We've a knack for presentation AND functionality. The ultimate power behind the throne.)

But some can find us cold. Stodgy. We won't hang from the rafters, party all night, or have screaming orgasms. (That's so ... uncouth!) We like neatness, order, and concision. Get to your point, and do it effectively. Even better if you're able incorporate eloquence and style. Oh, but nothing too flashy.)

The standard Valentine's extravaganza is actually a bit overpowering for Virgo Venus. The Libra Sun allows for more sociability, spontaneity and appreciation for flair - but the ideal is sophistication and genuine affection. Say, a baker's dozen pink roses with imported truffles and Chopin's Nocturnes on vinyl. That's about how most Sun Libra / Venus Virgos roll. (This per several - not just myself.)
