Hi LL,

I've decided to go ahead and ask one more question about an ongoing situation with a man in my life.. I'm definitely in need of a reading, so I hope that one of you can help!

I can provide some more details if necessary, but the gist of it is that I told him a week ago that we shouldn't talk anymore.. He's decided to date a woman more local to him, and told me after the fact (but he had continued to contact me etc). I was expecting it to be us, based on the past few months of us talking, but anyway.. My question is whether or not that's it for us. I'm not necessarily asking if we'll be in a relationship, but am looking for some insight into what's to come for the situation in general (more importantly, whether or not we will be able to be friends at least). I really miss talking to him, even though I know this is probably best for us both right now.

I hope one of you is willing to help me with this! I'll trade you for a non-tarot reading if you'd like as well.

Thanks, imeanj! I'm actually not a tarot card reader, so I don't know how to interpret them too well. I do know that death represents a new beginning, but no idea about interpreting the other two.. so I'm not sure of what to take from the cards you've pulled :-/ I appreciate it either way.

Can anyone else offer some insight into what these cards could mean, or possibly pull some for me from their own deck?

So from an astrological standpoint decisions made in the last week or so this will be final - at least for the next four months or so. We just went thru a lunar eclipses that was in Scorpio/Taurus that marks endings, but this is because it is making room for beginnings as there is a new moon/solar eclipse in the next week or so. Beginnings can also be the beginning of taking care of yourself instead of beginning to be in a relationship, etc. There is one more lunar eclipse at the end of the month - however it will be in Sag/Gemini.

From these cards what I gathered is that that relationship ending and it was the right decision. It may not be completely over - as if you look at the 7 of swords as a card, 2 swords are leftover. You are deflated from the breakup, but you are still there. It is important to take the high road now instead of getting re-involved - even though he may be doing things that are underhanded. That is, learn from the situation so as to not make the same mistake twice. The King of Swords suggests you will gain wisdom so that either you will have the mastery of the suit of swords or someone will come along who is like the King of Swords for you - Air sign.

---

Death is probably best in the past position. This indicates that you have gone through a wrenching change that involved loss and a helpless inability to do anything about it. Whether it was a childhood scar or a recent breakup, this card here is solidified as no longer being able to capture you. It may be the concrete foundation on which your present situation rests, but it is most definitely not a surface that will come back to haunt you in anything other than bad memories. The permanence of what happened is lessened in power by the finality of it all.

If the Seven of Swords is in the present part of your Tarot reading, someone may be cheating on you. A spouse or a business partner may be getting away with stealing your trust. Just as likely, though, this card could show that your recent crafty moves are paying off at work and in love. When a cute guy flirts with a friend and you make a move on him when she goes to the restroom, you are the clever thief pictured in the Seven of Swords.

In the future position, the events of the present may be steering you toward an encounter with a person whose word is law. Perhaps the King of Swords is the judge who will be overseeing your child custody battle. In the future position, this card can represent a spouse or partner delivering an ultimatum in regards to some negative behavior of yours. If the King of Swords represents you when it is in this position, you are becoming a person to whom many people turn for advice or guidance.

Very interesting stuff.. This reading seems to coincide with a previous one I had done by Beccathelion, although at the time I didn't realize his disappearing act meant he was pursuing someone else instead. He's an air sign, so it'd be interesting to see another one come along, if that's the case anyway.

Thanks for the extra info too!

Kay,

I know you are good at horary, in exchange will you look at the thread I started? I posted 5 horarys I have read over the last four months and Depth/Ceri has been going over them - really educational. Would just love more feedback and some debating on how to analyze, etc. Dunno where Hera has gone to, but miss her...

Thanks and glad to hear that someone else read similar things. I'm bummed for you - but I feel the King of Swords means that there maybe someone coming along. HUG!

Sure, I can definitely take a look at it for you! I'm still learning (always something new to learn with horary), but will offer as much insight as possible

As for my reading, I have been feeling better the past day or so and am just reminding myself that things happen for a reason.. Thanks again for taking the time to do it! I'll go check yours now.
