I can't upload a picture of my birth chart because I'm on my ipad, but my MC is 9deg57 in Sagittarius. My rising sign is Aquarius (24deg05) Would that make my 10th house ruler Scorpio, or Sagittarius? It's confusing for me to figure it out. Houses are so weird on my chart..

So, would it be Sagittarius, or Scorpio? Saturn in 9th sag, Uranus in 10th sag. Pluto in Scorpio 8th, Venus in Libra 8th..

Mc is in sag, so your mc ruler is Jupiter.

But if you count asc as 1st house, wouldn't that make my 10th house ruler sign Scorpio?

Sorry, I didn't mean mc. Just 10th house to see what suits me best as far as careers go.

I get what your saying, but no ruler of h10/mc is still sag, doesn't matter what where the ac is, sometimes the other angles are a sign off, but still the ruler is where the sign is...

like for me, my 8th cusp is at 28 Libra.
Venus still rules my 8th even though Scorpio is most of the house..
I believe that's an intercepted house, but not completely sure.

Depends in the house system you use. In Placidus (default for most sites) the mc is the 10 house cusp so in that case it would be Jupiter. If you're using equal and the 10 house cusp falls in Scorpio, house ruler is Pluto but mc ruler will always be Jupiter.
