I did a tiny reading for you. I feel that working with children is not forfilling for you anymore and I read it as a 'no, don't continue with this'. I'm not sure if that is solemnly to do with finances? I got the 9 pents rx for you. You should work towards something that will be forfilling on the material as the spiritual level. You will recognise this goal as you will be willing to plan this new route out.
Hold major decisions for now, because the 2 swords fell out of the deck when I started. Make sure you first have your intentions and motivations clear. You don't have the full picture yet.

@twirl thank you sooo much!! i really appreciate it and this does make sense to me. the only thing is that i am APPLYING for childcare jobs and dont feel motivated about it. i received intuitive guidance from several people that i am gifted to work with children. the problem is that i have heard horror stories about working in daycares and also the pay is very very low. i almost have my bachelors degree and have had better jobs than this. it is almost minimum wage. i do love kids and have plenty of experience with them volunteering for 5 years, however. i think the 9 of pentacles rx also represents me searching and interviewing for jobs but coming up with nothing. and i really do feel like i am not seeing the full picture with the 2 or swords rx.

i have been thinking about doing some healing for people. i wanted to take reiki or pranic healing and setting up my own business online. i have venus in gemini in the third house so i have lots of creative interests and i have neptune in the tenth house, so it is difficult for me to find a career i want to do. i have had so many different interests and job experiences.i also wanted to make my own website selling natural health products and blogging/writing articles.

could i ask you to tell me intuitively what you feel is a good job for me, or what would you interpret the 9 of cups and knight of pentacles as?

I think healing, especially in combination with natural medicine (herbs) is an absolute yes for what suits you (knight pents + 9 cups). For some reason I also have to think about including Bach flower remedies and such...
But to build that up, will take time (and right now you need money and something solid). I'll pull some additional cards later for you to see what action you can take now. Perhaps you can also agree with yourself to take these jobs for now (while you start working towards a job that would be fulfilling on a material and a spiritual level for you).

For the career path. I find it hard to pin down something as personal as a career choice, so you should look to what qualities resonate with you and then think over in which way those should/could be applied in a job for you. Also just take this as advice that can help you decide or point towards a direction. Don’t drop all you have done so far jus because of those two cards

When I look at the qualities of the knight of pents I think of a profession where a pragmatic/practical approach is necessary. He likes routine and taking care of the physical world. Even though this knight can be a patient fella, he still wants to see result in the end. So to take that into a career situation, it has to be a job where you actually act (work with your hands/actually do and not just think) and you can see physical results. Traditionally this is a card of the land and would suit farmers, gardeners, even furniture makers, etc (and I could sum up much more). But also everyone working with the physical can be represented (working with the body, etc.) Key thing is this knight likes consistency and also he is good at taking care of what he sows, taking care of details and he has patience. Overall I would advise you to search for a job where you are in touch with people. I think just working online or not seeing results of your efforts will make you unhappy.
In addition the 9 of cups is more spiritual & creative card. Also caring (on a more emotional/psychological level) is a key word in cups. So therefore I can see the interest in healing (look at all the bottles he has behind him), but I have also seen it come up for bar tenders, who heal people differently by numbing them with alcohol... ;-)
Combine these energies and you are looking at a job where you can see results (have physical contact with people), use your nurturing & caring side, but where you can perhaps also have some input in (psychological/emotional) development. I think both sides should be integrated mo instead of just one or the other.
If I’m thinking of working with children (just brainstorming here), I can imagine you could enjoy working with what are considered as difficult children. Like autistic children etc. What bachelor do you have?
I’m not sure if this helps you, but perhaps it gives you something to reflect on.

Update on your cards. I just had the contract I was offered examined and it's a crap deal. (Fishy!!)
I'm going to see if there is a possibility to alter the contract in a more fortunate one for me, or I will try to find another party...

The Fish actually means money in Lenormand. Lenormand cards are supposed to be read in pairs, otherwise they will make no sense.

Fish+Paths+Sun

Literally means a very good choice in financial matters. So not sure how Elixir drew those cards, or why she drew them individually..
