So I was watching a Spanish movie and it awoke the travel bug in me...again...lol...I decided to pull two cards about traveling...a general reading. Didn't really have a question but I pulled the 9 of cups and the queen of cups. I feel the 9 of cups means I will get my wish, but the queen of cups was a surprise because I feel like this is the part of me that i would have to overcome if I was to be more adventurous...I try to overcompensate for too much water by being more like the Queen of Pents or Wands...Anyways, what do you think? Maybe it means I will meet someone? Here are the images from the crystal visions tarot: http://crystalvisionstarot.com/images/c_nine.jpg http://crystalvisionstarot.com/images/c_queen.jpg IP: Logged |

So my thoughts are more that you want to evolve from the 9 of cups to be more like the Queen of Cups to get what you want. i.e. 9 of cups, you get what you want, but who wants to look like an oaf? (Edit: I am not reading from your deck - normally 9 of cups is a big man)Likewise, what I am picking up is that your real wish is that you want to find love, not just to travel. But both. So that you need to be clearer with your intentions of what you want in order to get it instead of a mixed up version of what you want... (like below - hot professor only to find out he's slept with everyone else too.) Hugs and hope this is helpful! --- The Nine of Cups Tarot Card When you picture a Tarot reading in your mind, even if you have never seen a deck of cards before in your life, you are hoping for a card to come out that confirms you will be getting everything you are wishing for. Every Tarot reading starts with the desire for your psychic to pull up the Nine of Cups. A well-fed man sits on a bench with his arms crossed. He wears a fancy red hat with a matching red feather in it. Behind him is a circular table covered top to floor with a blue cloth. This makes the man's white robe stand out all the more. On this table are 9 cups. The man sits with his table of cups in an unadorned golden hued room with a golden floor. The man has such a smug look on his face. He is big too, satisfied and well fed, perhaps even a little bit cocky after a fulfilling experience for which he had obviously longed. He is getting exactly what he wants. The Cups are his and empty; he has enjoyed their contents and has arranged them as trophies. When you get exactly what you wish for, you too will have that satisfied look and that line of trophies. Will you be enjoying your satisfaction alone like our friend with the fancy hat? Will you be on a throne or just a functional wooden bench? The Nine of Cups mixes poorly with other cards of the Cups suit. This card needs precision and thought and Cups are too emotional. The chance to have something you really want blinds you to the practical realities. This is wishing to make love with your cute professor and finding out you were one of a few girls in your class that he bedded. Too many Cups cards in a reading with the Nine of Cups present and you are likely to follow a false passion toward oblivion. Hey Elixer Just a quick reply, just got home. I think both cards are saying that for now it's pretty dreams and a lovely vision. Combine 'the wish' in this deck with the queen (who also sees visions and can travel anywhere while looking through her internal eyes) and you have what you were dreaming about at the moment you pulled the cards. Or at least that's how they appeared to me. Nothing wrong with that because the thoughts and dreams about this seem to please you & make you feel good. Just my 2 cents. Lovely images on this deck btw IP: Logged |

Hmm....my opinion is there is a message in those cards for you. I don't feel they were giving you a prediction. When you nurture that desire you are having (queen of cups), you will find your happiness (9 of cups). Which has already been stated. No need to pull a card for me. IP: Logged |

I forgot to add (but the others already pointed that out), with vision, wishes and intentions (and that clear visualising picture you drew/draw up in your mind), the ideas on this topic expand. Meaning that that is where you start planting the seed in (if you wish and decide to at some point) making it real one day. When we visualise things and see it crystal clear, we are more inclined to believe in it and new thought patterns can (not will, because only if it is a desire that fits and suits) open up to the idea, leading in taking those steps. Sometimes completely subconscious. Or so that is how I experience it I have no questions at this moment, but if you want to practice, that is always fine of course Or maybe a silly one (we can test it, Friday I will know). The question is: will my washing machine still work or does it need repairs? Again, only if you want. I'm not sure I would be able to answer such a question with my cards myself... Strange topic 4 the cards and I usually wouldn't put them down for this... IP: Logged |

The Magician! What do you think that means? quote: Originally posted by Twirl: I forgot to add (but the others already pointed that out), with vision, wishes and intentions (and that clear visualising picture you drew/draw up in your mind), the ideas on this topic expand. A repair man, lol. To make it work like magic again... But I'm really not good on reading for myself. Too attached. Because I can also see all should be working well and in place (tools), but I instantly thought of 'a guy with tools'. What did you think? IP: Logged |

^ ha ha. Well at least that's funny. I just keep on asking the same question and getting the same answers with no action. Because I want someone else to take action. Sigh. Btw, Twirl I got confirmation on all of those cards - extensive reading and all of the cards were amazing. It was pretty ridiculous... IP: Logged |

Lol. You are both funny @Imeanj, that's great! Did he approach you already? Edit: I really thought on the situation cards you drew that you should take some sort if action. Doesn't have to be major, but just to get him going again IP: Logged |

Okay I made a move - I told him I wanted to see him. Elixir, draw a card for the outcome please. Twirl, when you get a chance I think I want a career reading - about how to make some moves internationally. LMK if you have time. I've gotten conflicting readings about it. Hugs girls, and Elixir good luck with your interview today, I know you will do great. I agree w/Enlightened just be yourself! IP: Logged |
