Hi Everyone,Just looking up resources on Horary and unable to find a clear answer so wanted to ask the question on LL. What is the significance of the Ascendant in horary? Not the Lord/Ruler of the Ascendant, but the actual Ascendant itself. I've read conflicting views. For example here: http://tribes.tribe.net/horary-astrology/thread/5e41880c-0b49-4b93-b00b-ed7f35b4ff17 Versus: http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=102546 And there is a chart, but will get around to posting it later. Thanks all. Hugs! IP: Logged |

There is no cut and dry answer. I personally don't look at the ascendant too much as a Sign with its specific qualities, it depends on the question. But I do use it if there is an applying aspect from a significator to it . I am way more confident to use the ruler of the ascendant than the ascendant itself, but like I said, don't ignore it, it can make an answer change course if it is going to be hit.IP: Logged |
