I feel like this aspect doesn't receive enough credit. My parents have this conjunction to the degree and I have it with a romantic interest.

What are you experiences with this aspect?

I don't have any personal experience with this aspect, but this has to be good!!
Moons "on top of each other"
it means great emotional understanding and closeness, familiarity, and being on the same wavelengths when it comes to emotions. Moon is the softest part of our chart, so when they are aligned like this, I think even more then with a trine, its great
I have experienced Sun trine Moon aspect and that is just feeling really close to the person, and them being kind of dear to me, like soft, flirty emotions..
and have also experienced Moon square Saturn which was horrible and very difficult, so its very important what aspects Moon makes with the other person..again 2 Moons together should be pretty harmonic

Yes, we have Moons conjunct in Aqua. I am assuming it is this feature which accounts for the ease and effortlessness in our relationship. We felt this sense of ease when meeting the first time which was surprising and delightful.

I'm not sure to what extent our emotions are similar, after all I am a Scorpio and female, which makes for greater intensity. But our reactions to the world around match. I expect we would respond in similar ways to moon transits.

Btw, this post, which is a discussion on aspects, is likely to be moved to Astrology 2.

I had Moon conjunct Moon with an Aquarius once (and all my planets are in the 11th - Sun, Mercury, Venus!) there was a VERY familiar feeling about each other. We became friends quickly, and we always knew when our mood changed without words. We could read each other very well, it was great and since we were Taurus moons it was a very sweet conjunction.

M conj M can mean that both individuals are able to share in the same emotion or one individual (either one) can project his / her emotions (say, bad emo) onto the other and thus, cause the other person to become involved in the same emotions as the other.
This aspect, though, is a bonding aspect.

There may be an easier way to read and understand complicated Synastry pie chart aspects. Pie chart aspects can also be produced onto a basic Synastry Aspect Chart. Review the sample chart at your leisure. It may help you gain even more insight than you currently have.
